This has been my go-to wine for years. Founded by Cameron Diaz and Katherine Power, Avaline brings a range of delicious, transparently made wines that are meant for sharing. Every sip is made with 100% organic grapes, has less than 1g of sugar per serving and is free from unwanted additives like colors and concentrates. Made with 100% organic grapes Avaline only partner with winemakers who prioritize sustainable farming All of the grapes found in every bottle of Avaline are 100% organic, with no traces of synthetic pesticides or insecticides Zero sugar Avaline wines are fermented “dry,” which means there is no residual sugar present All Avaline still (non-sparkling) wines have 0g of sugar per serving. The Avaline sparkling wines have a touch of sugar that’s necessary to give them the bubbles, but still very low (under 1g per serving) No unwanted additives Winemakers are allowed to add up to 73 different additives to their wines, including Megapurple and other concentrates to manipulate the color, flavor and mouthfeel of their wines — Avaline never does Click the below link and access 15% off sitewide using code 15FORJUNE now through the end of June https://lnkd.in/ezrU5jNt #avaline #lowsugar #nongmo #glutenfree #organic #wine #redwine #whitewine #sparklingwine #winepairing #organicgrapes #favoritethings #favorite #gifting #housewarming #celebration

NO! I know it’s crazy. I didn’t know for the longest time either! While wine itself is made from grapes, the winemaking process can involve animal-derived products. Traditional fining agents like egg whites, gelatin, casein (milk protein), and isinglass (fish bladder) are often used to clarify and stabilize the wine. These fining agents are not additives to the wine as they are filtered out along with the tiny unwanted particles, but they make the wine not suitable for vegans. If you’re looking for a vegan wine, check the label or look for certifications that indicate the wine is vegan-friendly. If you’re shopping on the Scout & Cellar site - no worries here - we have a soil to sip report so you will always know the description for every wine on our website. 100% transparency! Now tell me, did you know this, or were you just as surprised as I was when I found out?!

Biodynamic goes a step further…
Organic and Biodynamic Wines Organic, biodynamic and other environmentally friendly practices don’t necessarily impact the flavour of wine (though there are those who may disagree). Rather than taste, this movement was largely born from an intention to support environmental and social change – and therefore the long-term viability of winemaking in Australia. ✨ The Sparkle Factor: Understanding the Science Behind Sparkling Wine Production 🍾 As a passion for food technology, I find the intricacies of sparkling wine production absolutely fascinating! The unique effervescence and complex flavors of sparkling wines, like Champagne and Prosecco, are a result of a meticulous scientific process that combines art and technology. 🧪 The Science Behind the Sparkle Fermentation: Sparkling wine production begins with primary fermentation, where yeast converts sugars in grape juice into alcohol and carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide is initially released into the atmosphere, but it plays a crucial role in the final product. Secondary Fermentation: This is where the magic happens! In the traditional method (Méthode Champenoise), a mixture of sugar and yeast (liqueur de tirage) is added to the base wine before bottling. The bottle is sealed, and the yeast ferments the added sugar, creating carbon dioxide that dissolves into the wine, resulting in that delightful fizz. Aging on Lees: After fermentation, the wine is aged on its lees (dead yeast cells). This process not only contributes to the wine's complexity and creaminess but also enhances its flavor profile. The interaction between the wine and the lees is key to developing unique characteristics. Riddling and Disgorging: To remove the lees, bottles are gradually tilted and turned (riddling) to move the sediment to the neck of the bottle. The neck is then frozen, and the sediment is removed (disgorging), allowing for a clear, sparkling wine. Dosage: Finally, a mixture of wine and sugar (dosage) is added before corking the bottle. This final step determines the sweetness level of the sparkling wine, creating various styles from brut to doux. 🍷 Why It Matters Understanding the science behind sparkling wine production not only enriches our appreciation for this elegant beverage but also highlights the importance of innovation and technology in the food and beverage industry. As we explore advancements in fermentation and sustainability, the future of sparkling wine production looks promising. #FoodTechnology #SparklingWine #WineScience #MTech #Winemaking #Innovation

THE ART OF BARREL CARE🍷❤️🥂 Follow us: Wine International Association Instagram: @cadelbosco_official Maintaining the integrity of wine barrels during periods of inactivity is crucial for preserving wine quality. One effective method for barrel care involves using sulfur tablets for dry preservation. By burning a sulfur tablet inside the barrel, sulfur dioxide is released, effectively eliminating bacteria and fungi. This meticulous process ensures that the barrels remain in optimal condition, ready for their next use. However, caution is necessary as barrels must be thoroughly soaked before refilling to remove any residual sulfur dioxide. With careful attention to these steps, winemakers can ensure their barrels are always prepared for the next batch of wine. 🍷 #winebusiness #vino #sommelier #champagne #ai #funny #Innovation #Technology #Future #advertisingandmarketing #sustainability #travel #businessintelligence #artificialintelligence #automation #food #sustainable #wine #restaurant #export #italy #france

🌿 How do you find the best organic wine❓ 🔗 Link in Bio https://lnkd.in/dVajQcB 🍷 Who makes organic wine? 🌱 The number of wineries making organic wines is increasing steadily, with the result that they’re available in a far greater range of styles than ever before. 🍇 Some of the producers implement some organic principles and not others, some grow organic grapes but don’t make organic wine and still others make both organic and non-organic wines. ❓ Why don’t more organic wineries promote the fact on their labels? 🤔 Many wineries are cautious about promoting their organic designation. They know that most consumers buy wine based on its taste and quality—the organic part is just a bonus. 📉 Organic wines also have an unfortunate history. In the past, they were perceived (often correctly) as being poorly made and prone to going bad quickly because they lacked preservatives. 🔮 What’s the future of organic wine? 📈 The category is growing at about 20 percent a year, albeit from a small base. Encouragingly, even when winemakers don’t aspire to be fully organic, more and more are still trying to reduce their dependency on chemicals. Have you tried an organic wine❓ Let me know in the comments 👇 Cheers🥂, Natalie 🍷 PS Get my free "Ultimate Guide to Wine & Food Pairing" at: https://lnkd.in/ghiPfx_F 🔗 Link is also in the bio ✉️ Or just DM me and ask for the guide! Today is National Wine Day! 🍷 Whether it is Red or White, the sound of glassing "clinking" will be heard around the world today. 🥂 Fermentation is the chemical process that uses yeast to convert sugars to ethanol. This process is at the heart of the wine production process and requires accurate CO₂ measurement to ensure wines of the highest quality. Temperatures and conditions in wineries are very carefully controlled to ensure that fermentation does not occur too fast. Why? These factors can distort the flavour and alcohol content of the wine. As well as ethanol, gaseous carbon dioxide is generated as a natural part of the fermentation processes. However, as wineries are typically built in small, enclosed spaces, CO ₂ can pose some serious health and safety risks. In this blog, find out how wineries are kept safe from the dangerous associated with fermentation and which of Edinburgh Sensors products are best suited to aiding your wine making. 🍾 https://ow.ly/betV50ROrLJ. #NationalWineDay #Wineries #WineMaking
