Floyd Shivambu Former VP EFF (Great Political Strategist) departs; His fellow compatriots regard him as a smart guy who is both an intellectual and a practical organizing tsar. Being a PhD holder did not make him unique among the party intellectuals like Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi and the current Secretary General who can fill Shivambu's position easily among others. Loyd Shivambu was responsible for the EFF's campaign in KZN where the party was trounced tremendously by the MK party. 1. I submit that that loss was going to be an issue of contention in their forthcoming party meeting this year which would have resulted in him being contested for the VP position that he held. So his departure might actually be viewed as a pre-emptive move to avoid the embarrassment of an unlikely defeat in that forum (one opinion). 2. Another opinion is that he fell for the likely offer of heading the MK party given that both President Zuma and Justice Hlope have convictions on their persona which would hinder them from ever descending to the Presidency of the country if the MNK were to win the elections. The only problem with that is the Master Chess Player President Zuma himself who is so unpredictable. He is treading on murky and slippery ground and it is very tricky.MK has already recalled 18 of its sitting MPs and one can imagine how inconveniencing that can be. 3. The VBS scandal which is now the centre of discussion names Floyd Shivambu and notes that his brother benefitted from it, yes Malema is mentioned too, but Shivambu features more visibly and is likely going to be summoned to answer on this issue. Now Shivambu might have taken a decision to avoid being pursued as an EFF member to preserve the image of that party (which is honourable) but there might be another reason not mentioned here Whichever the dice roll it seems as though the end game might not look well for the dear comrade...and that's politics This might be the way the cookie crumbles for his esteemed political run which made him a maestro!

What purpose does this branch of the "free market" industry serve? Impress, money, emotional manipulation, devastation, animal instincts feeding, natural animal instincts of humans feeding? Pure CO2 production including media that transmit this type of events? The same is about the Olympic games. Please explain to me ... because we are bombarded with limitations needs and adaptation needs, and wherever we see we see this type od behavior, you see it more in box fights, and hokey matches? Are we humans or animals liking violence and dominance? Where are the world wide spread solidarity and cooperation and respect values here?

There are several problems with India wanting to host a F1 race again; not only is the Formula 1 Calendar too crowded with 24 race weekends; the sheer costs of organising and hosting an event, not including the huge licensing fees that need to be paid to Liberty Media/FOM who will certainly play countries like Turkey and Vietnam against India (as they should) to maximise their fees. Now when you include the billion-plus dollars that it will cost to develop to a new 'dismountable' circuit at Gujarat' GIFT City - much like Singapore - some facilities like the paddock and team buildings will be permanent - is silly because there is a Formula 1 grade circuit that was also built for F1 just lying under-utilisedc in Greater Noida. Heck, the story of the Buddh International Circuit, a tragedy in itself which I've written about, a true story of hubris for Jaypee Infrastructure and irony is that with the Jewar Airport opening by next year, things could have finally turned around for the track and the developer. #Formula1 #GIFTCity #KushanDrives #India #F1
