Don't ever be too big to ask for help. Asking for help doesn't make us weak; it makes us wise. The Earth is structured in a way that we will always need each other. In project management, there's a concept called dependencies, which means we rely on inputs from stakeholders or team members to achieve our goals. We are all interconnected, and nobody has all the answers. Notably, our success often depends on the support and expertise of others. When you need help, ask for it; it may be the difference between success and failure in your career. Interestingly, the help may come from a junior colleague. For instance, a Managing Director may need assistance from a security officer to ensure a safe working environment, just as a line manager may require input from a content strategist to develop effective communication plans. We must recognize our interdependence and treat everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of their position or role. By doing so, we create a supportive and collaborative environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best work. What are your thoughts about this? Share with me in the comment section. I wish you a productive day. #Linkedinfamily #Motivation #Editor #Proofreader #Contentwriter #Virtualassistant #Projectmanagement

How to Become a Storyteller in 7 Simple Steps! (Everyone tells you to be a good storyteller, but no one tells you how?) You don't need to worry. Let me share 7 simple steps: Meet Sarah, a marketing manager who overcame a difficult project and wants to share her story. Here's how she applied these 7 steps: 1. Know your audience: Sarah knows her audience is fellow marketers who understand the challenges of project management. 2. Start with a hook: "I'll never forget the project that almost tanked my career..." 3. Use descriptive language: "We were understaffed, underfunded, and under pressure to deliver in just 6 weeks." 4. Make it relatable: "I'm sure many of you have been in similar situations, feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do." 5. Use dialogue: "My team leader told me, 'Sarah, I believe in you. You got this!'" 6. Edit and revise: Sarah refined her story to focus on the key moments and lessons learned. 7. Practice, practice, practice: She's told her story many times, and it gets better each time! . Like it? Give it a thumbs up and share it with your fellow professionals. P.S. What's your story? Share it in the comments & meet your twin! P.P.S. Need help sharing your story? Feel free to DM me, "Hi Ghostwriter" #Linkedinghostwriter

Two years ago I started a new role and I wanted to improve my writing skills. I saw a post from my friend Rob Penny who mentioned that Julia O'Doherty was one of the best writers that he had worked with. So I reached out to Julia and asked for advice. She suggested a handful of resources, among them a book: “The agile comms manifesto” by Giles Turnbull. I bought the book straight way. But work quickly took over and it sat, untouched, on my bookshelf for 2 years. 🙁 Until this week! 🥳 Here are three things I took away from it: 1. Everybody is already too busy most of the time Unless I can single handedly clear time in the calendars of colleagues, friends and family, I need to remember this. They don’t have time. And there is nothing I can do about it. So the best thing I can do is communicate in a way that is brief, clear, unambiguous and interesting. 2. Create layers of information Giles proposes three layers of information to make content accessible: a lure, context, and detail. I instinctively understood and practiced this, but I had never been able to describe it. This gave language to an idea I hadn’t articulated before. • Lure: grabs attention and gets people interested (eg. an email subject) • Context: provides just enough information to be useful (eg. the body of an email) • Detail: gives all the information a reader might need (eg. the email attachment) 3. Use the words that humans use This means communicating in simple English. The kind that real people use in their real lives. Writing the same way people speak. Because when I can do that, I am doing the hard work so my audience doesn’t have to. And that makes my written communication more effective. 🎉 How have you improved how you communicate? Any tips of tricks? Let me know in the comments. ps. thanks for the recommendation Julia! I have added some of the others links in the comments for anyone that is interested. I hope you don’t mind #productmanagement 👍🏻 if you enjoyed this 🎙️ add your thoughts ♻️ repost for your network

How to tell a story/write an article/content with confidence. [6 strategies that grew my readers from 12 to 2,000 in 9 months] When I started writing: ➡ I struggled with my tone of speech. ➡ My write-ups lacked confidence and authority. ➡ I felt like an imposter, giving people financial advice and tips. ➡ I thought I needed to be Bill Gates rich before I could share my knowledge. This made me play safe in my write-ups. But over time, I realised no one would take me seriously if I didn’t take myself seriously. Instead I: ➡ I took storytelling courses. ➡ Began to implement them in all my content. As my writing improved, so did my reader's interest in it. I would wake up to hundreds of notifications—new followers, claps/likes, re-shares, highlights, comments, etc. Here are 6 things I did to restructure my writing ➡ Started with a Strong Opening: Weak Example: “I was part of a team that worked on a project.” Strong Example: “Last year, I led a dynamic team that revolutionised our approach to customer service, resulting in unprecedented client satisfaction.” ➡ Used Specific and Measurable Outcomes: Weak Example: “We improved sales.” Strong Example: “Our innovative sales strategy increased our quarterly revenue by 30% and expanded our customer base by 25%.” ➡ Incorporated Personal Insights and Reflections: Weak Example: “I learned a lot from the project.” Strong Example: “This project taught me the importance of agile project management and deepened my understanding of cross-functional team dynamics.” ➡ Highlighted Challenges and How I Overcame Them: Weak Example: “The project had some challenges.” Strong Example: “Despite facing a 25% budget cut midway through the project, I successfully negotiated additional resources and kept the team motivated to deliver on time.” ➡ Showcased my Leadership and Initiative: Weak Example: “I was involved in the project management.” Strong Example: “I took the initiative to revamp our project management process, which led to a 40% increase in efficiency and more timely project completions.” ➡ Used Engaging and Positive Language: Weak Example: “I did my best to help the team.” Strong Example: “I played a pivotal role in guiding our team through complex challenges, resulting in a project that set a new benchmark for success.” You will thank yourself later when you put these tips into practice. Found this post helpful. Kindly repost ♻ so others can learn. Thank you!

You can work with me ... but it's gonna be weird. ❌ I'm not going to ask you to fill out content briefs. ❌ I'm not going to refuse to interview your internal subject matter experts. ❌ I'm not going to force you to use my preferred project management software. ❌ I'm not going to give you crap advice 'cause I'm scared to say I don't know. ❌ I'm not going to lock you into a contract without an out clause. ❌ I'm not going to wait to be told what to do. Yeah, it's gonna be weird, but weird in the best way. 👉 I have an opening for one new client in September. Let's get weird. --- Hi, I'm Erin. I've been writing and editing professionally for 12+ years (magazine ⮕ agency ⮕ Inc. 5000 SaaS company ⮕ self-employed company of one). I worked my way up from assistant editor to marketing director before quitting to start Haus of Bold. 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧: For the past few weeks, I've embarked on a journey of writing on LinkedIn, and the impact it's had on my professional and personal development has been good so far. Here's why I've committed to this practice: 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐞: Writing daily has made me more observant of the products and services I encounter in my daily life. It is helping me analyze their features, user experience, and overall value proposition, thus sharpening my product sense as a Product Manager. 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐌 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬: Each day, as I sit down to pen my thoughts, I find myself naturally applying the principles and concepts I've learned in product management. It's a practical way of reinforcing my learnings and staying updated with industry trends. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Writing regularly has nudged me out of my comfort zone and helped me confront the fear of judgment. By sharing my thoughts and ideas openly, I'm learning to embrace feedback constructively and grow from it. 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱: As I write about my experiences, insights, and perspectives, I've found a sense of empowerment that has helped me deal with feelings of inferiority. It's a reminder that everyone's journey is unique, and there's value in sharing our stories authentically. 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲: Putting my thoughts into words forces me to articulate them in a coherent and structured manner. This process of thinking and writing, I'm hoping will help improve my clarity of thought and problem-solving abilities. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Writing daily will undoubtedly contribute to honing my communication skills. Whether it's crafting concise captions or expressing complex ideas in articles, I'm hoping to become more adept at communicating effectively with clarity and precision. In conclusion, daily writing on LinkedIn is not just about sharing content; it's about fostering a habit of reflection, learning, and growth. I'm excited to continue this journey and see where it takes me next. #LinkedInWriting #ProductManagement

Introducing!! #30daylinkedInshowup 👏👏👏👏👏 30 days of consistent posts about #ProjectManagement. Stay tuned to this page and please encourage me on this journey. This will take a lot from me but I'm willing to do it. The ultimate aim of doing this is to ↡→ improve my storytelling skills (too many idea begging to be let out😂) ↡→ provide quality educational content on project management, ↡→ establish my voice within the project management domain, ↡→ to make myself visible and available to potential clients who had been searching for people like me 😂😂😂 The social media era is the writers' era. There is so much to take away from putting your thoughts together and let them out to the public without the fear of judgment. I want to write and become a great reference resource. Big storytellers like Jasmin Alić, Oche Writes, Haoma Worgwu, to mention a few, would relate to this. It a whole month of in-depth research and writing and I am excited to do this. _________________________________________________________________________________ ➖Follow me Christian Ohaedeghasi, M.Sc. ➖Turn on the notification bell to avoid missing my posts. ➖Share, and engage to encourage, inspire or criticize me/my work. _________________________________________________________________________________ I am so eager to help with any change initiative (projects) you plan to embark on or that you are already on but needs a professional touch.
