Day 29/30 Kargil War: A Story of Valor and Sacrifice In May 1999, the Indian Armed Forces faced an unexpected challenge in the Kargil district of Kashmir. Pakistani troops had infiltrated across the Line of Control, occupying strategic positions. Our brave soldiers responded with courage and determination, fighting in treacherous terrain and harsh weather conditions. Key highlights of the war: - Operation Vijay: The code name for the Indian Army's operation to clear the Kargil sector. - Tiger Hill: A crucial battleground where Indian forces fought fiercely to capture the peak. - Batalik sector: Another key area where Indian troops overcame heavy odds to secure victory. The war ended on July 26, 1999, with India successfully evicting Pakistani troops from our territory. We remember the sacrifices of our martyrs and honor the bravery of our soldiers who fought to protect our nation's sovereignty. #KargilWar #IndianArmedForces #Valor #Sacrifice #NationFirst Degree2Destiny

Sharing an employment idea for national interest! During British times we had Brahmin Regiment Mohyal Regiment etc. etc. But consequent to partition of India especially Punjab & Bengal these Brahmin regiments, were dissolved, for the reasons known to Nehru government. However army regiments like Gorkha, Sikh, Maratha, Rajputana etc, were retained. Brahmins or (Brahmin vote banks) of India must force GOI to restore identity of these army regiments of British times, for better employability of Brahmins. Rather GOI must encourage Brahmin Agniveers, to join these Brahmin regiments, for better employability! What do you think?
