Cofounder & CEO, Perplexity

“You notice how often we ask questions. Any random question, I’ll be asking Perplexity. Why not? I love using it. Even if I know the answer, I’ll just ask it anyways. Just to see what it comes up with. We want the marginal cost of asking questions to be as low as possible so that you get to use it in abundance” - Jensen Huang

Perplexity search result : Answer Perplexity AI is indeed associated with NVIDIA in several ways. NVIDIA is a significant investor in Perplexity AI, having participated in a $73.6 million funding round for the startup. Additionally, NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, has expressed personal use of Perplexity AI as his preferred AI chatbot. Moreover, Perplexity AI leverages NVIDIA's technology for its operations. The company has conducted experiments using NVIDIA's H100 GPUs to enhance the performance of its answer engine, transitioning from the previous A100 GPUs. This indicates a technical reliance on NVIDIA's hardware to improve the efficiency and capabilities of its AI models.

I use Perplexity all of the time...to be able to further my curiosity, by asking follow-up questions to my core question...and for #Perplexity to return awesome answers, give suggestions and from reputable sources...it's been a very user friendly experience. I do have a question...is there a way to group/title the questions that I pose in #Perplexity that I've saved in the Bookmarks, so that when I go back to reference something, its fast to locate? It would be a nice feature, if not currently present.

Zeinab Mazadi I have been an early adapter of AI tools like chatgpt, Copilot, Llama and still using different ones to see if any of them can beat chatgpt. Perplexity might be fast and giving you source of the search however I don't find it good or even interesting for brainstorming. It is just a faster search engine so we should not compare it with chatgpt. Chatgpt is a research fellow if you need it to be and also it can be a therapist if you need such thing. So these things makes chatgpt a real AI assistant And I am not in anyway connected to OpenAI or Microsoft who are invested heavily in the model

I've started using it recently, became quite a fan of how it gives information and invites for a conversation.

Well said Aravind,I like that! “Perplexitying” could definitely become a fun term to describe the act of searching or seeking answers using Perplexity. It fits well, especially since Perplexity AI is often associated with the complexity of a language model and the idea of exploring challenging or intricate topics.

It's inspiring to see how lowering the barriers to asking questions can fuel curiosity and innovation.
