We’ve heard from many engineers over the past year, and they all face a similar problem: 40-60% of their NPI and VAVE projects are delayed. This often results in unhappy customers and missed revenue targets. And when they tell us the reasons why a lot of times it has to do with tasks surrounding the handoffs and transitions between internal teams and between the company and its suppliers. The supplier says new equipment is needed to hit that tighter tolerance that was added last minute. Late stage, near-launch ECO’s drive design review loops and more product development costs. One of our clients estimated that an average ECO can result in 10 revisions and cost over $5k for every revision. $50k for 1 ECO and months added to launch. The old school method of waiting for cost and DFM detail after parts are designed isn’t working. Design reviews by email and powerpoint are too slow. Create cost estimates earlier, faster, and more accurately. Know the manufacturing risks associated with design iterations…. With aPriori. Join us to learn more on December 11th and sign up below!

Want to gauge the strength of your positioning? Try this simple test: 1️⃣ What ONE word would you use to describe your business's position in the market? (e.g. Think of Volvo’s one word….Safety) 2️⃣ Ask your team the same question. Do their answers align with yours? 3️⃣ Now, ask your customers. Does their perception/experience match your intended positioning? If you're getting different answers at each stage, you either need to: ✳ Define: Identify an authentic market position and be able to clearly articulate it ✳ Educate: Ensure your team understands and embodies that position ✳ Market: Communicate your positioning simply and effectively to your customers Remember, strong positioning is the foundation of a cohesive, effective business strategy. #brandpositioning #businessstrategy #customerperception #gapinthemarket
