#Recruiters and #RecruitingCompanies I'm not sure what is going on with this industry. It seems weird to me to use an antiquated form of identification. When did we go back to using our last 4 digits of our Social Security Number (SSN) to identify ourselves? Back in 2002 while in college I distinctly remember the recommendation by my university to stop using our SSN as our college IDs. Within a year everyone had new ID cards for the cafeteria and all campus activity centers. I haven't been asked for the last 4 digits of my SSN more than ever, in the last month. In today's volatile world of constant scamming, phishing, and identity theft why would a reputable company even go that route in asking for my SSN? It is truly something to ponder while applying to jobs and fighting against AI to get through the resume battle. 🤔 #JobSearch

Use Trusted Platforms: Apply only through reliable job portals like LinkedIn or Naukri. 4. Avoid Suspicious Practices: Be cautious of interviews on messaging apps like WhatsApp. Avoid vague job descriptions or unsolicited offers. 5. Report Scams: Report fraudulent activities to Cybercrime India Portal (cybercrime.gov.in). Tip: If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Always verify before proceeding.

It's time for the Cyber NOW® SOC Analyst Jobs report.   The June true entry level SOC analyst jobs have been released on the website. In summary, it looks like the jobs are beginning to pick back up. It worried us there for a little while, but we believe what we saw (lack of jobs) was just a normal ebb and flow of the job market. The authority on statistics suggest that the Information Security Analyst occupation is projected to grow 32% over the next 10 years which is much faster than 0.3% of all jobs. This month we found 30% more true entry level jobs in the time we searched and documented than previous months.
