Lovable is probably the fastest growing startup in Europe ever. $4m ARR in 4 weeks. This is how we did it: 1. We found what we call a "scaling law" for more reliable agentic systems 2. We posted what we shipped on twitter (+ we have a cracked best team in europe of technical mega-nerds) Scaling law? We found a way to make Lovable (a product building platform / AI full stack engineer) work where other AI tools typically get stuck. We refer to this as a new scaling law. It’s too much competitive advantage to go into details, but we are far from exhausting this scaling law, and we’re hiring more cracked engineers since it’s extremely predictable that we can do so. How we solved growth? We posted what we shipped on X. And we ship often (see me / lovable_dev on twitter). A annoying but now we're focused on infra. >3x increase in shipping speed will commence after christmas. A cracked team in Europe? Most of us are misfits in some way. But also have many dimensions of genius. We have a mission that unites us: Build the last piece of software. And to play this on hard mode, we’re doing it headquartered in Europe. To show it can be done. And to make Europe great again. If th product is worth your time today? Those who swear by using Lovable over other tools right now are: - engineers that want to build faster while still being able to connect Cursor/VS Code when things become complex - designers, PMs and operator that want to be empowered to ship new products + internal tools Basically, Lovable lets you spin up a prototype in 20 seconds and a full application in a few minutes. But it’s still early and getting better fast. Finally, an ask if you want to see us succeed: If you know an exceptional engineer who want to join an insanely ambitious team – and is already in or interested in moving back to Europe – ping me just tell them to find a way to get noticed by the lovable team. Note: you might be this person! Great product feedback is appreciated and a great way to get noticed. Merry Christmas everyone! Looking forward to the ride together on the path to AGI.
Let me translate this startup hype into market reality: "$4M ARR in 4 weeks" breakdown needed: • What's the burn rate? • What's the unit economics? • What's the actual retention? • What's the real revenue quality? "Scaling law" translation: • Undisclosed "secret sauce" • Vague competitive advantage • Mystery differentiation • Unproven sustainability Red flags waving: • "Last piece of software" claims • "Path to AGI" promises • "20-second prototype" magic • "Few minutes full app" fantasy The reality check needed: • Customer acquisition costs • Net revenue retention • Actual usage metrics • Real profitability numbers Success metrics that matter: • Monthly burn rate • Customer churn • Implementation success • Support requirements Not: • Twitter shipments • Vague scaling laws • Team superlatives • AGI promises (From someone who's seen more "fastest growing startups" disappear than survive) P.S. "Make Europe great again" with undisclosed tech magic? That's a new one 😏 #StartupReality #NoBS
Well done Anton Osika ! Great product! Will be doing in depth testing and review shortly
Anton Osika, I am un-hirable (judged by recruiters as lacking proper education, competences and experience) and I haven't been able to get a job interview in the last 12 years. Instead, I build my own technology, sold former self-funded startup in the high 7 digits. I am European but living in Seattle. I see your company more like a potential partner. I could integrate some of your stuff in what I am working on now (https://mltblog.com/4g2sKTv).
Now that’s a hockey stick that is lovable
Love your product. The limited choice in backend makes me still prefer cursor
Only found out about you a few weeks ago. But I was sold on your home page. The sheer visibility of what has been built using your platform in REAL TIME is a testament to your product market fit 👏🏾👏🏾
We need more of this in Europe, loads of optimism, mountains of features. So many can take heed. Keep it going.
I give it a try for quick prototyping and is definitely lovable 😄. Helped bringing my thoughts to UI in the way I wanted with minimal fuss. Amazing work Anton Osika and team. I see that AAR growing even faster in the future 👏💪
So they still call it Twitter over in EU. Good to know.
Incredible growth story! Finding a "scaling law" and leveraging community engagement clearly set Lovable apart. Excited to see how this journey continues—building the last piece of software is no small ambition!
