While the use of generative AI for common tasks is increasing heavily at the "individual contributor" level, managers can also benefit. Consider one of the primary functions of people managers - to coach and lead people in their current role and career path. Using AI to expedite tasks like writing briefs, reviewing drafts and summarizing work for executive recaps can allow more time for managers to inspire their teams to deliver greater value to their organization. #ai #teammanagement #managementskills

It is possible? Imagine if Ai was the CEO, replacing managers and department heads. Wouldn’t be applicable for all types of businesses, but for customer facing industries, it could be something. Hierarchy would be flat and everyone would be accountable. Pay could be performance based. However, with the change (or lack of) in human to human communication and guidance, it wouldn’t necessarily be a place of culture, growth or happiness.

"53% of employees would stay longer at their company if they received more appreciation from their boss. Furthermore, 81% of people report that they experience greater motivation when they receive appreciation from leadership." While #HRTech, such as AI, will not replace great leadership, it can help management give more recognition, motivation, and encouragement. Most importantly it can take over administrative tasks so #HR professionals can spend more time connecting with employees, giving them the tools they need to lead with empathy. #AI
