When the organiser of tyre industry trade fair The Tire Cologne published the exhibitor list for this June’s event last week, we noted several high-profile absences. It appears we were too quick to the draw, as the exhibitor list has grown since first going public. While the list contained the names of 245 exhibitors on the day it was first went online, it grew to 273 exhibitors the next day, and as of Monday morning (25 March) stands at 288 exhibitor names. Members of The Tire Cologne team at organiser Koelnmesse told our sister publication Reifenpresse.de they’re working on the assumption that 300 exhibiting companies will have signed up by the time the tyre industry trade show starts on 4 June. One of the names joining the list in the past couple of days belongs to a company we’d already marked off as absent. The Michelin Group will exhibit at The Tire Cologne via its Euromaster distribution network. Announcing the upcoming engagement, Euromaster says it looks forward to presenting the European workshop chain’s “extensive and flexible” franchise concept in face-to-face meetings. Our teams from Germany and the US came together on site at American Hofmann Corporation Hofmann not only to exchange knowledge and share best practices, but also to lay the foundation for even closer collaboration: 🔹 Collaboration: It was impressive to see how our colleagues from different locations brought their unique perspectives and experiences to the table. Together, we developed innovative approaches to optimize our global sales strategies. 🔹 Sharing knowledge and best practices: From success stories to challenges, the open dialog provided us with valuable insights and new ideas for the balancing industry. We learned from each other and discovered strategies that we can apply in our relevant markets. 🔹 Networking: The opportunity to get to know each other better personally and make closer contacts was just as priceless. These connections not only strengthen our professional network, but also promote intercultural exchange and understanding. A big thank you to everyone involved for their energy, enthusiasm and willingness to share their thoughts. This meeting has once again shown that we can achieve more together. Here’s a retrospective look back in time at Deckers Brands first EU tradeshow in 2003 - and yes, that's really me!!
