Are your pubs and bars match fit for kick-off? No one wants to be Jack Grealish and miss out on success with Euro 2024 this month so we've put together a quick last minute checklist to ensure your venue is selected for Euro 2024. International flags and bunting - make sure flags are securely attached to walls and flush against ceilings, this not only ensures customers get to see the big screens unhindered, but also prevents damage from over enthusiastic supporters. Even consider running bunting around the walls and not criss-crossing the ceiling. England and Scotland Decorations - many venues will want to get behind their national teams - make sure flags are put up so as not to obscure TV and projector screens. Scotland is playing in the very first match on Friday and England play their first match against Serbia on Sunday at 8pm. Create the atmosphere for the big matches, this is where hats and flags come into play, make sure you have plenty of hats and hand flags for your respective teams, it is not just England and Scotland, but some venues might be getting behind Spain, Italy, Germany or Poland. Make the most of all the matches, yes you should be packed out for the big home nation matches but why not run a sweep stake type activity to keep the interest with your customers and drive additional traffic. At TDH Group we can supply those last minute football decoration and POS top ups to ensure you can make your venue(s) the place to watch EURO 2024. https://lnkd.in/gR-B9vaV

With football games and autumn festivities in full swing, it’s crucial to get your hotel shuttle vans ready for the cooler weather. Ensuring your shuttles are prepared will help guarantee a warm, safe and enjoyable ride for your guests heading to their favorite seasonal events. Here’s how to prep your vans for fall and winter: ✅ Optimize heating: Confirm that your van’s heating system is working effectively to keep passengers cozy on their trips to stadiums and fall fairs. ✅ Check insulation: Ensure the insulation in your shuttles is intact to prevent drafts and maintain a comfortable interior temperature. ✅ Prepare tires: Inspect tire tread and pressure to handle icy and wet conditions, keeping your rides smooth and secure. These simple steps will help you provide an excellent experience for your guests throughout the fall season. Need a hand with maintenance or have questions? Reach out to us at 800-255-8341 or visit our website for more information. #HotelShuttles #FallEvents #FootballGames #ShuttleVans #Schetky

My good friend Fraser Maxwell and I have been organising a bike ride called Ride to the Sun (www.ridetothesun.co.uk) for almost 10 years now. What started as a daft idea has grown into one of the UK's biggest cycling events and, for many riders, its most loved. We had no idea it would become so popular, to be honest we’d expected it to be a one off event, so had given no consideration to the brand we were establishing. But after the success of year, 1 when we agreed to make it an annual event, we gave more thought to the brand values we wanted to build and protect – we wanted it to be fun but purpose-led, we wanted to support local communities and businesses, we wanted it to feel inclusive with no fee or fitness level ever being a barrier to entry. The brand, and branding, has evolved over time, but isn't that the case with so many brands? You might not know where the journey will end so you need to be willing to adapt, see what works, what your customers like and make the most of it. Of course you have to be willing to shape the direction but it’s always a “conversation”. Growing the event from nothing to where it is today has been rewarding, interesting and with incredibly few bumps in the road, figuratively and literally! When we get feedback like “It’s the perfect event, please change nothing but promise you’ll keep doing it”, it’s hard to think about doing anything differently, especially when the things we’ve done over the years came from the simple idea of building the event in a way we thought that people would like, not chasing profit or notoriety. However, having been in marketing for so long it becomes instinctual to consider what will matter to the audience. Last year we were interviewed for a Podcast by Simon Willis “Always Another Adventure” and I feel the end result sums up Ride to the Sun pretty well - https://spoti.fi/3xzOK6T (link to podcast). Anyone who fancies cycling 100miles through the night please sign up here - https://lnkd.in/ewykudV7 - there’s free beer at the end and our extensive sampling research tells us that it’s particularly delicious after a long ride and sitting on the beach watching the sunset (thanks Stewart Brewing for your support)

It's so important to ask what your buck is expecting for their bucks party so you don't go booking something they would hate! Some questions to ask: "Something wild or tame" "X-rated entertainment or not at all" "Extreme sports or something more like poker" "Big bucks party or small and intimate" These questions don't spoil any surprised but allow you to get a general idea of what they want to do. Once you have this sorted you can contact a bucks party planner (like us) to organise it all for you (including transfers, accommodation and activities) https://lnkd.in/ghXUjqr #eventplanner #partyplanner #bucksparty #eventorganisers
