Annie Galvin Teich’s Post

This is #BannedBooksWeek.  PEN America found that more than 10,000 books were banned in public schools during the 2023-2024 school year, nearly triple the previous year. Every student deserves to see themselves represented in books. While every parent has the right to choose the books their child reads, they do not have the right to make that decision for other parents. We all need to do our part and speak out against #bannedbooks https://lnkd.in/eTm3c2ec

That's amazing, Annie Galvin Teich. Do you know if there was one type of book or topic that was banned the most?
