How long should the ideal onboarding be for a newbie on your team? Aleksandra Porobic and I shared some thoughts on this in the video below! Onboardings should come in 2 parts; the company onboarding and the role-specific onboarding. The first week of onboarding would set the foundations for the second week which will include enablement on role-specific tasks. In addition to the onboarding you should also consider: 1. Pre-boarding: setting expectations for the onboarding before the employee begins work 2. Progress reviews: after onboarding, have regular check-in to monitor progress and identify any blockers along with getting feedback! #onboarding #enablement #omnipresent
