I love how Indians like to publicly abuse brands like Zepto and Blinkit for delivering food that is "not nutritious". But in private, they'll order Garlic bread with cheese dip, coffee and pain au chocolat because it's all available for ₹449 and in 6 minutes. My dear genuises, if you think it's not good, just stop ordering.

Anirudh Arun: The reverse was true when we were building a sports platform for others to play! We had more pat on the back than money on the table.

Anirudh Arun By your logic BluSmart should charge less than Uber etc., as you are green, when we are buying an ev scooter, we all are looking for green energy and less price comparatively. Healthier choices should be cheaper in long run. Everything is human consciousness but do it really work in that way, Singapore created a Blue Zone by making taxes on artificial sugar and other products very high (so tomorrow this same garlic bread comes at INR 1000, people will order less), some things have to be forced down to general public to make a country healthier, we can't blame Indians for that.

I agree, but we shouldn't overlook how Zepto's advertising tactics can be quite compelling. Repeated messages can significantly influence people's decisions. Both consumers and businesses share equal responsibility in considering long-term benefits. In this context, Zomato selling vegetable oil-based paneer to restaurants could be seen as an ethical business practice. I've also raised multiple complaints about Zepto's strategy of influencing people by adding free wallet amounts. Stop influencing us, we will not look back at you.

They will also hog birthday cakes made with toxic corn syrup, refined flour and palm oil and play off season Holi with it.

I don’t think abusing brands is right but calling for balance is critical. Convenience will push many to order far more regularly and one cannot deny it can be a health crisis. Maybe quick commerce giants themselves could create some mindful checks like Instagram does for controlling mindless scrolling?
