This week at Compassion International Uganda we saw 5 ideas come to life as we held our first innovation week. The hackathon allowed the staff to think outside the box to provide sustainable solutions to 5 challenges in the organization. The most rewarding part is that I am part of the team that organized it. Kudos to Brenda Abeja Aidah Agwang Emmanuel Makafu Audrey Karuhanga for the job well done. Most of us get bored with our work because we get stuck in applying conventional approaches to contemporary challenges. The workspace keeps evolving creating room for ideas/innovations. Sometimes you simply need to tweak a process to create lasting impact. Today is a good day to innovate. Don't over think it, allow your creative juices to flow. #I’d rather be creating
