Open RAN ecosystem (v19) after #MWC24 Attached are the updated charts following #MWC24. I know I have not captured everything so if I have missed you, email me to update. No longer are we having to justify Open RAN, it is here to stay. From the O-RAN ALLIANCE day, there are now 32 Operators and 269 contributing entities. The supply base has segmented into three groups:- a) Those proposing O-RAN on existing closed RAN platforms. b) Those proposing O-RAN on generation 1 hardware and c) Those now bringing generation 2 hardware and software to market improving energy consumption and TCO. The speed of innovation and R&D investment was on full display. It was great to see what is being done, within the principles of Open and Interoperable, in such a short time. Operator deployment announcements either for trials and or for commercial deployment continue at a pace. It is difficult to break down the categories of the deployments so going forward I will treat them the same. Again, if I have missed you from the ecosystem, please let me know.

IDEAS don't happen because they are great or by accident. Demanding people are my favorite to collaborate with to transform and make ideas happen.
