#HeatingtheAIRace ⚒ Recently we experienced a race of AI technology between 2 giants of industry - Google's Project Astra and OpenAI Chat GPT 4.o. The revolutionary GPT 4.o(omni- which can solve maths equation, give real time translation, can talk with pets and flirt with you) launched just one day before the Googles annual developers conference and later next day google team used term AI for 121 times which tells us that how search engine company wants to integrate AI in its ecosystem. The Project Astra (virtual AI assistant) and new Google AI powered search are the extraordinary steps in this direction. Just want to highlight one thing as these platforms are offering their services free of cost, huge amount of data they are collecting from us. So its not free... seeing hidden cost involved in it. #AI #Infosec #ResponsibleAI #Datasecurity #AIforhumankind ✴

OpenAI CTO was recently at her alma mater, Dartmouth College and talked at length about the future of artificial intelligence, the next generation of ChatGPT, and its PhD-level intelligence. Murati says that GPT-3 had toddler-level intelligence, GPT-4 had the intelligence of a high-schooler, and the next generation of the model will have the intelligence of someone with a PhD for specific tasks. She also revealed that the next generation of GPT can be expected in “a year and a half”. She even said that when you have a conversation with the next-gen chatbot, in a lot of things you might feel like it’s smarter than you. The interview moderator, Jefferey Blackburn asked Murati the question we have all been asking ourselves: What if three years from now, when the GPT becomes unbelievably intelligent, it just decides it wants to connect to the internet on its own and start doing things. Is that real, and is that something you're thinking about as the CTO of OpenAI? “Yes, we're thinking a lot about this. It's definitely real that you'll have AI systems that will have agent capabilities, connect to the internet, talk to each other, agents connecting to each other and doing tasks together, or agents working with humans and collaborating seamlessly. So sort of working with AI like we work with each other today,” WOW 😮

One of the biggest implications of todays OpenAI demo and not obvious at first, while looking at the cool new features is that GPT-4 will be available for all users without the ChatGPT Plus subscription. And much more: taking fotos, analysing data, using GPTs. This will massively boost AI adoption, seeing how powerful multimodal ChatGPT can be. Now you just have to experiment and learn to prompt effectively.

Breaking All Boundaries With Gemini's AI Image Generation - Creating the Happiest Llama 😇🦙 ➡️ Quick Read: https://lnkd.in/gt8YWrXz Since its launch in Q1 of 2023, Google Gemini (formerly Google Bard) has been the biggest and the most successful competition to OpenAI's ChatGPT. Google Gemini is the go-to AI chatbot for people needing a chatbot for actual research purposes, as it is backed by Google's vast library of knowledge and intelligence. 🚀 ChatGPT and Bard have been neck and neck for the most part. After OpenAI integrated Dall-E with ChatGPT Pro, Google gave Gemini a new update, allowing it to generate AI images directly from the chatbox. 💬 #AI #artificalintelligence #AITool #AIchatbot #Chatbot #googlegemini #Gemini #aiimages #imagegenerator

#AI news of the day: #Claude3 from Anthropic has lept past #chatgpt4 and #geminiai via The Verge and Emilia David: ▶ "Anthropic, the AI company started by several former OpenAI employees, says the new Claude 3 family of AI models performs as well as or better than leading models from Google and OpenAI. Unlike earlier versions, Claude 3 is also multimodal, able to understand text and photo inputs. Anthropic says Claude 3 will answer more questions, understand longer instructions, and be more accurate. Claude 3 can understand more context, meaning it can process more information. There’s Claude 3 Haiku, Claude 3 Sonnet, and Claude 3 Opus, with Opus being the largest and “most intelligent model.” Anthropic says Opus and Sonnet are now available on claude.ai and its API. Haiku will be released soon. All three models can be deployed on chatbots, auto-completion, and data extraction tasks." Smarter, stronger, faster is the race for LLMs right now and other models will continue to jump forward. I loved a post from Josh Huston today stating similar trend analysis and adding that anyone getting involved with AI should invest the $100/mo to get Pro accounts of ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini to test, evolve, and transform the way you interact with technology. This strategy is a bit foreign to most, "why would I get 3 things that can do the same thing?" Well, it's the only way to become literate in this new generation of tools. Eventually one or two should rise to the top but you wouldn't look back to 1999 and say, "I'm sticking with #AltaVista," I have a good feeling I won't need anything else. You learn and test the spectrum. Engage. What do you think, have you tried Claude 3? https://lnkd.in/gdsqbzEv
