𝗔𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗱𝟯-𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝘁𝘇-𝟭 – 𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗻𝗮𝗽 The wait is over! The brilliant team behind Boltz-1 has released a truly open-source and commercial-friendly replication of AlphaFold3, and we’re thrilled to announce its integration into Neurosnap’s webserver. Boltz-1 achieves AlphaFold3-level accuracy in predicting 3D structures of biomolecular complexes and represents a significant leap in biomolecular modeling. It stands toe-to-toe with Chai-1 (a non-commercial-friendly AlphaFold3 replication) and even outperforms it in several benchmarks: • Protein-ligand predictions: Boltz-1 achieves an LDDT-PLI of 65%, compared to Chai-1’s 40%. • Protein-protein docking: Boltz-1 boasts DockQ > 0.23 in 83% of cases, surpassing Chai-1’s 76%. Building on the framework by Abramson et al. (2024), Boltz-1 introduces key innovations: • Efficient MSA pairing, structural cropping, and binding pocket conditioning. • Optimized diffusion training/inference and improved architectural flow. • Revised confidence modeling with fine-tuned trunk layers. By integrating Boltz-1 into Neurosnap, we’re bringing cutting-edge technology to everyone, everywhere. 🧬 Try it now: https://lnkd.in/ehXJDMN2 #biotech #bioinformatics #Neurosnap #Boltz1 #AlphaFold3

🌍 April 22 is #EarthDay (see comment with link to more info). How can we reduce our planetary footprint? 🧬 Biomanufacturing is one way: large-scale production from living organisms. To scale it up across industries - for example food, materials and medicine - we need new ways to work with biological systems. "Engineering biology" is how we design and build biological systems for industrial scale. Here's a peek into how we do it. What you're seeing below: 1280 experimental conditions, designed by machine learning algorithm, performed by robotic platform. 🤖 Our platform optimises conditions for cell growth, to help create new foods and therapeutics. 24/7 testing and optimising to find results that scale. Every day is earth day. #sustainability #biomanufacturing #engineeringbiology #alternativeprotein #cellularagriculture #cultivatedmeat

Last week I presented at my first Bits in Bio event! Really enjoyed interacting with the community, learning new names, and seeing familiar faces from Dimension's Protein x AI the week prior. Bay Area #techbio is sizzling! 🔥 Fantastic presentations and products by other speakers! Super smart crowd. Great questions about on-preming, finetuning, business models, and more. In addition to offering my perspective on bio-AI tooling and bottlenecks in synbio, I got to do a LIVE DEMO of some of the most time-saving features that we use on BioLM.ai: real-time predictions, embeddings search, response caching, autoscaling. Big thanks to Shantenu A., and 📸 to Natalie Ma, PhD! #bioml #synbio #finetuning #llms #bioai
