Today I watched my best friend listen to people as they complained about how much Christmas shopping they had to do and how little time they had to do it and I heard her mutter “just be thankful you don’t have to do what I have to do this Christmas”…because in 7 days she’ll be burying her father. And it got me thinking about how much time we waste moaning about things which really don’t matter. How often we take life for granted and miss those precious moments we can never get back. Once it’s gone it’s gone forever. The same with people. So if you have a call to make, make it. If you have an apology to say, say it. If someone needs to hear ‘I love you’, shout it. Regret is useless…action is priceless…kindness is free. #reflection #gratitude #blessings #wakeup
