Change Agent | Servant Leader | Force Multiplier | Digital & Analytics / Healthcare Services & Tech Expert

This week, Stanford University School of Medicine and McKinsey Health Institute co-hosted “Realising the Potential of AI in Health” – a forward-looking conversation with more than 80 senior leaders across healthcare, life sciences, health tech, investment, and tech exploring how AI can help add years to life and life to years for billions globally. Experts in life sciences, healthcare, and academia weighed in on the promise of this new era. From accelerating drug discovery, improving our understanding of human biology, and easing administrative burdens to providing expert decision support to health care workers and individuals, the potential for AI to enable better health is enormous. To harness it well, experts say, we must explore – and act – on big questions related to equity, agency, and ownership, and consider the central role AI could play in the transformation of health systems. Thank you to Dean Lloyd Minor of Stanford University School of Medicine Medicine and McKinsey Health Institute Chair Hemant Ahlawat for opening remarks, and to our distinguished speakers including Euan Ashley of Stanford Medicine, Alex Beauvais of QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey, Danielle Belgrave of GSK, Colin Murdoch of Isomorphic Labs and Google DeepMind, Kristin Anne Rutter of Cambridge University Health Partners, and our expert moderator, Financial Times Columnist John Thornhill, for an important and illuminating discussion we look forward to continuing. #globalhealth #AIandHealth
