Spanish Class experience in Immerse - Learning Instructions in Spanish. Hi everyone, today I had another Spanish class class in Immerse! I am starting to find these very addictive. Each class is scheduled throughout the day, and is led by a teacher. Today's class was led by Maria José. I've had her several times already, and she's great! It was a beginner level class, and it was just me and another student in attendance. The class was held in a kitchen scene (with a few whiteboards and other learning tools). Maria José started by explaining the activities we would be doing today, which was understanding how to give instructions. After the instructions were given, we stood in front of a graphical organizer, while Maria dictated a dialog. Our first task was a listening and comprehension exercise where we were to place the sentences in the correct order. Afterwords we went through each sentence and took turns translating them into English. I picked up several new words for my vocabulary during that exercise! Great! Next, Maria place a cue card tool on the table, and we took turns give instructions to our partner using the cue cards. Finally, we reviewed what we learned, and then tried to explain and give instructions for a recipe to our partner. One of my favorite mexican dishes is Chilaquiles. Primero, busca las tortillas en la cocina. Luego, pon las tortillas en la sartén. Después, pon la salsa verde sobre las tortillas. Enciende la sartén. Luego, pon los huevos sobre las tortillas. Por último, come los chilaquiles. The above was my attempt at a recipe. I know its incomplete, but we only had 2 minutes! Anyhow, below is an after class video I created for you to see the fun learning environment of Immerse! So far, I am very impressed with it! https://lnkd.in/gEsuBZBw

Learning a new language is a bit like learning to drive… You start by sitting next to a driving instructor who helps and guides you. The instructor can intervene when necessary. But when you're ready and have passed your driving test, you really have to start driving on your own. Because that's when it begins. Real driving happens in practice, after your driving test. That's when you develop your own habits and encounter many different situations. It's the same when learning Dutch. Many of my students find it challenging to speak Dutch outside of the lessons. They feel comfortable doing it in class, but once they leave the room, it feels too intimidating and vulnerable to speak in this language. As a result, they end up speaking English in real-life situations. However, truly speaking Dutch happens after the lessons. That's where real-life situations occur. And that's where you truly learn the most. Those conversations at the town hall, in public transport, or at the supermarket are incredibly important. That's the practical experience! So, if you're currently learning a language or considering taking a language course, know this: speaking a language also means stepping out of your comfort zone. Practice. That's how you really progress. At Learn 2 SpeakDutch, we guide you and provide tips during the lessons. Know that you're welcome to ask questions if you're interested in any of our Dutch courses. Feel free to send me a message! (even that is stepping out of your comfort zone).

Learning German is Easier Than You Think... Many people believe that learning German is hard. But the truth is, it can be simple and enjoyable if you follow the right steps. Here’s how you can make learning German easy: ✅ It’s Not All About Grammar: Focus on speaking. This is where traditional classes often fall short. At Lightspeed German Learning, we emphasize conversation over grammar drills. ✅ Conversation is Key: Talking is the most important part of learning any language. Practicing real-life conversations boosts your confidence and fluency. ✅ Approach Grammar Wisely: German grammar is much easier than English when approached correctly. With the right methods, it becomes manageable and straightforward. ✅ Have an Exact Plan: Being organized with a clear study plan makes learning simple. Our programs provide structured plans to keep you on track. ✅ Stay Positive: It’s crucial to be in a supportive environment. This is why we have a qualification call on my website. 6 questions I ask when learning a new language: (that you should be asking yourself when learning French) 1️⃣ Do I have enough time to attend a course on a regular basis? 2️⃣ Do I know the type of course that would be most effective for me? 3️⃣ Do I have the budget to join a course? (Yes, sorry, I don’t believe in ”learn a language for free”) 4️⃣ Am I motivated enough for the 9 coming months? 5️⃣ Will I be able to use it at work? 6️⃣ Am I ready to step out of my comfort zone ? If you say ”yes” to most of the questions, you are ready to learn 🇫🇷.

In English, the phrase “get this show on the road" means to begin an activity or journey; to get moving. For example, as you're getting ready for a trip you might say, "If we don't get this show on the road, we'll never get to the bus on time." Learning English phrases like this one will help you feel more confident when speaking in your new country. https://bit.ly/3RWc8mz
