Your profit and loss statement reflects the outcomes of your decisions over a period. But, it doesn't reveal the missed opportunities. 👉 Take this example: Years ago, my mom wanted to invest in major renovations for her home. She reached out to three contractors… but only one responded. The other two didn't bother to return her call. (This was astounding – they missed a significant opportunity! And this was in 2009, at the height of the recession!!) This scenario highlights a crucial point. When those other two contractors reviewed their annual profit and loss statements, they wouldn't see this lost opportunity recorded. It's a silent gap. Remember, a profit and loss statement captures what has transpired, not what could have been. It's essential to stay vigilant about opportunities that slip away. Consider these strategies: ✅ How can you enhance your presence and visibility in your market? ✅ What proactive steps can you implement to secure more business deals? ✅ How can you build strategies for customer retention and repeat business?
