During the event our founder and CEO, Somdutta Singh, shared her insights and learnings regarding the rapidly growing ecommerce market. She stands as a great example of a strong woman leading many men and being extremely knowledgable and a thought-leader and Swiss Army knife in global ecommerce distribution and supply chain management.
As Som is mentioning in the interview, being smart in bundling is one of many factors and tricks that can help you win the customer and buy-box. Especially (but not necessarily) when seeking flexible and diverse offerings with a small range of SKUs.
Particularly for the Indian market, we have been following QC-development closely. Time will tell whether the business model will be able to obtain and sustain profitability or whether it will end up as a big black hole in the market. Interesting to see for how long market players can continue to raise capital to maintain and compete in the event of the latter.
