In advance of #AmeriCorpsWeek from March 10-16, please consider donating to Health360 Inc. We manage a number of AmeriCorps programs across the country around healthcare workforce development, mental health, and assisting people in crisis. Since 2020, the urgency of creating these healthcare workforce pipelines has only grown more dire. Staff burnout, retirements, the cost of higher education, and a number of other factors are all contributing to a lack of people pursuing health professions. To meet growing national healthcare demands, the programs we implement fill immediate community needs while simultaneously facilitating national service opportunities for the next generation of doctors, social workers, community health workers, social service professionals, dentists, dental hygienists, psychologists, therapists, physician assistants, CNAs, APRNs, sterilization techs, and SO MANY more! Your support would mean the world to us.

Wondering how The Soondra Foundation selects grant recipients? At the heart of our #mission lies a carefully crafted approach to #philanthropy. We believe in the #powerofcollaboration, which is why we exclusively work hand-in-hand with our #nonprofitpartners. These dedicated organizations play a pivotal role in identifying individuals who are in need of #financialassistance for their medical needs. Importantly, our #grantees remain blissfully unaware of our involvement, allowing them to focus solely on their health journey without the added stress of seeking financial support. We are not just a source of financial aid; it is a #collaborative force working behind the scenes to ensure that those facing health challenges receive the care they deserve 🌟

The goal of International Day of Older Persons – observed on October 1st – is to celebrate the contributions of seniors and highlight the issues affecting them. It’s estimated that the worldwide senior population will reach 1.5 billion by 2050, more than double what it is today. With this increase, it’s more important than ever to ensure the senior community has access to the care and resources needed to thrive. Here are a few ways you can help: • Advocate for policies that protect the rights and well-being of seniors. • Volunteer your time to assist seniors through local non-profit organizations. • Raise awareness of the issues affecting older persons by sharing personal experiences. • Educate yourself on the challenges facing seniors. Another way you can help is to become a Seniors Helping Seniors® caregiver. Our in-home care services provide essential daily assistance, allowing seniors to age with grace and dignity from the comfort of home. Episcopal Health Foundation is looking for emerging and community-led nonprofits that are advancing health equity work related to maternal health, diabetes prevention, and/or food & nutrition security within EHF's 80-county Texas service area to participate in a new cohort opportunity! EHF will be partnering with Resilia to provide a space where nonprofit professionals can access mentorship, troubleshoot operational challenges, and continue growing their impact while navigating the challenging journey of running mission-driven organizations with smaller budgets. Want to know more? Join us for an online info session on Wednesday, April 17 from 11:30am-12:30pm. We know that change happens at the grassroots level, and this program is designed to support nonprofits with smaller budgets that historically may not have been able to access support for operational capacity building work. We also seek to partner with organizations that serve BIPOC communities and/or who focus their work in rural areas. We are offering this opportunity to a limited number of organizations using an opt-in approach (i.e. first come, first served) to build this learning cohort. You do not need to apply to receive access to Resilia nor do you have to be a current EHF grantee. Learn more and register for the info session here - https://lnkd.in/gtyKwwkm Please like and share! #HealthNotJustHealthCare #healthequity #nonprofit TANO : Texas Association of Nonprofit Organizations
