As we head towards the festive season First Class HR Solutions starts to look back at the year that was and a little sneak peak into what 2025 looks like!! During 2024, First Class HR Solutions; - increased our network of business that we supported and expanded into Queensland with a new national client. - expanded our integrated HR Solutions, whilst exiting areas that no longer met our business objectives - supported new charities and causes including “Dreamnight at the Zoo” - introduced new technology to remain at the forefront of the industry whilst remaining committed to old fashioned quality customer service….. In 2025, we have several exciting projects on the horizon, which will be revealed shortly, however, a few things we are working on include; - further increasing our technology - expanding our network of partnerships - increasing our political campaigns to promote the need for better management of taxpayer money to improve outcomes for all Australians #2025 #changes #hr #politics

I’ve been holding back on some big news, y’all. I’m returning to the public speaking stage with my colleague Dan Coyne during next week’s Strategic HR U.S. Maine HR Convention at the Samoset Resort . We’ll be giving a collaborative presentation on inclusive retention strategies and ALICE. You’re probably wondering what an inclusive retention strategy and/or ALICE are and what they have to do with each other. Inclusive retention is all about leveraging organizational tools that don’t include money to keep our most valuable assets—our people. As a non-profit, we’re faced with retaining our best and brightest without the compensation lever of our private counterparts. Over the past two years, our leadership has revamped our approach, and we’ve been thrilled with the results. I’m excited to share them with those in attendance in hopes that we can all transform our organizational mindsets to understand compensation is about more than the all-mighty dollar. Now, let’s get to ALICE. If you thought it was an acronym, you were right. It stands for Asset Limited. Income Constrained. Employed. The ALICE population has existed in Maine (and beyond) for years. They are our neighbors hidden in plain sight—the forgotten class of America. ALICE are individuals who are working their tails off and barely making ends meet. ALICE are Mainers who are one crisis away from a downward financial spiral. ALICE are parents who decide between medication and groceries. ALICE are our family members, frontline workers, teachers, and dental hygienists. So, what’s the connection between inclusive retention strategies and ALICE? As a leader of people and development at a Maine organization, ALICE is at the heart of everything I do daily. For the last two years, Next Stage has been calling attention to a challenge being faced by many service providers - a declining referral pipeline of people for services.
