Its funny to think that we are almost always just one conversation away from opportunity. Start putting yourself in the way of opportunities: - Say yes to a non-commital conversation with a recruiter. - Reach out to that founder asking for a coffee - Go to that meet-up that will be full of interesting people. - Put your hand up to mentor someone. Life has a funny way of paying out to those who down the most chips, lets use these next 6 weeks to set yourself up for a bumper 2025. We have an Agency Owners lunch, an executive marketing meetup, a meetup specifically for those who work in production as well as webinars galore. Foot down folks- there are opportunities everywhere, you just need to get out and find them. #creativenatives

Is anyone aware of summits or marketing-focused conventions available for speaking opportunities? I believe there are some lessons to be shared regarding how agencies and talent managers can improve their cold outreach to brands. Based on my observations, emails, and LinkedIn messages, you folks are behaving in outdated ways, participating in poor practices, and leaving opportunities on the table. Would love to hear if folks have any thoughts or suggestions. It may be worth a post or two, but I believe that since the craft has nuance, it may be worth a video discussion. #marketingagency #influencermarketing #influencermarketingagency #talentmanagement

I don‘t trust folks that don‘t sell on Linkedin. Like in all honesty, we‘re all here for the same reason. Money. In that sense - when you log in, focus on: 1. Creating pipeline - attracting inbounds through your insights. 2. Opt to convert those leads. 3. Develop a strong presence that influences your existing clients + employees. 4. Building meaningful communities - think of it as networking like a pro. 5. Advocate for your evolving story (that scales) - think of it as grassroots PR. Now, there are plenty of sub-bullets under each responsibility. It's your job as a leader to prioritize appropriately. PS: My story-coaching program got more traction than expected. 4/4 seats are taken by 4 beautiful people. I’m thinking of opening 1 more spot. Send me a DM why YOU need it. I might open up one more spot for you :)

Getting noticed by your Dream Companies doesn’t require constant value posts or months of engagement. I grew from 6,000 to 30,000 followers and became a LinkedIn Top Voice not by giving away endless how-to content, but by focusing on insight—showing why things matter. Decision-makers don’t want to try your stuff. They want to know if you understand their challenges and can solve them. That’s what I’ll teach you in the Leader Magnet Workshop: - Create Insight-Based Content that gets Dream Companies to notice you in 30 days. - Engage Decision-Makers to start real conversations, not just gather likes. - Convert those engagements into job offers or client leads. I’ve personally used this method to get multiple job offers through DMs, and I’ll show you how to do the same. Want to join? Like this post and comment 'Leader' to get an invite. And remember to connect with me so I can DM you. The live workshop is happening on Wednesday, 23 Oct 2024, at 10PM SGT. (But act fast—this invite expires in 3 days, and I won’t be selling this again.) I’ll see you in the workshop! ✌️

Most leaders fail at LinkedIn. Here’s why you’re losing. Your posts are boring, here’s how to stand out👇 I spent 28 years growing a seven-figure specialized service business, building relationships with some of the biggest names out there The truth? In the fast-paced world of LinkedIn, less is often more. Overwhelming potentials with extensive content can cause them to disengage. Here’s a tip: Offer something quick and actionable. For instance, if you're a career coach, skip the lengthy intros and offer a free 15-minute strategy call. Tackle their top three roadblocks swiftly. This approach is simple, easy to agree to, and provides immediate value. By making that first step effortless, you’ll find your calendar filling up with high-quality appointments. Remember, the key is to simplify the first engagement and deliver value fast. Looking to refine this strategy? Let's design an irresistible offer specific to your audience and streamline your path to success. On LinkedIn it seems like there is always someone better than us as we try to climb ourselves to relevance. And truthfully they probably are better. Because they put the time in to learn the secret sauce of successful posting on LinkedIn. What is the secret sauce? The first ingredient is to truly believe in the wisdom, value, and relevance of what you're sharing. The second ingredient is the charm (def. the power or quality of giving delight) with which you share it. And the third ingredient is joining or creating a group of people who comment and engage with your posts just as you do for theirs. It may sound daunting. And it is. Until it isn't. Because once you've mastered the skill it's yours to engage with all the amazing people on LinkedIn as a true thought leader. Thought leaders are leaders we all follow. At first they may look like goats climbing a wall. But they're also showing us the way up the mountain of our success. 📈 If you enjoy making people smile to win more business click the bell 🔔 at the top of my profile to receive my posts.
