WAR DISCREDITED In this piece, General Smedley Butler discusses the objectives of war, both the obvious and clandestine, reflecting on his personal experiences. He, Having lived through three wars, and personally and directly involved in two, I found his insight and recollection of his experiences rather interesting. Considering the age of this paper, it’s incredible to note developments in this regard since it’s first publication.
