What an absolute privilege to participate in the Lunch and Learn session with the impressive high school students at MESA Charter High School. It was so encouraging and exciting to see such an energetic and aspirational room full of young people eager to explore various career paths in business, finance, and real estate. As I stated to the students - I am a firm believer that with the right combination of education, relationships, and hard work, there is literally nothing that cannot be achieved in this life no matter where you start out. And a big shoutout to the wonderful staff members at MESA who help bring these opportunities to their students. We cannot wait to welcome you to MESA Charter High School 2 in southern Brooklyn next year!
Exciting highlights from our latest Lunch and Learn, where we dived into the fascinating world of Business and Finance! A huge thank you to MESA alumni Joseline Naula, currently an intern at Deloitte, and Jose Estevez, a banker at Bank of America, along with industry experts Stephane Essama and Andrew Esposito. Our students explored dynamic career paths and tackled a hands-on simulation with GreenNote Supplies, an eco-friendly school supply startup, brainstorming ways to improve visibility, access, and engagement. Thank you to our speakers for inspiring the next generation of leaders! Interested in sharing your expertise at our next Lunch and Learn? Send us a DM—we're on the lookout for professionals in the Education and Human Services field to join us on January 15th!
