Meaningful relationships are at the core of effective leadership. I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked with a mentor who believed in me and helped me develop my leadership abilities. Despite geographical distances, we have maintained a strong connection over the years, and I continue to benefit from their guidance and support. Wisdom Wednesday. Have you ever asked your teams what their expectations are of you? You may be surprised the type of input and buy-in you may get from that question. To all my leaders out there, what is your expectation of leadership? What characteristics and attributes are you looking for in your leader and within your own leadership style? Why? I say this because leadership takes many forms depending on the situation in which we are put into. It’s also a subjective based on the person you are leading and I’m curious.
