Agile Coaching Tagebuch #106 A robust framework can save you tons of time. Example: 4C Framework for Workshop Design. You can design every workshop within much shorter time when you follow this structure that works for any kind of workshop or meeting: C1: Collect C2: Choose C3: Create C4: Commit Just fill in the 4C Containers with Group Activities and Exercises and you have a great first workshop design within minutes. :) Thanks AJ&Smart for spreading this grandiose framework. What frameworks do you love to use? PS: wanna learn more about the framework. Well. Just reach out :) DM, Comment, Mail, Write a post card,... ;) #agilecoaching #agile #workshopfacilitation #facilitation #designthinking #teams #kreativität #collaboration #iterateiterateiterate

Agile Coaching Diary #149 Have you ever noticed how real learning happens after you’ve seen a project in action? Emergent requirements are the needs that show up after we thought we had it all figured out. It’s like walking through a grocery store: You’ve got a list, but as you move around, you see things you didn’t realize you needed. In software projects, these moments are critical. A user might not know they need advanced reporting tools until they see the basic version in a demo. It’s a reminder to stay open to discovery. The best ideas aren’t always there at the start. How do you keep an eye out for emergent needs during your project lifecycle? Feel free to add your perspective in the comments 🔄 Repost if you found this useful. #AgileLeadership #Innovation #facilitation #designthinking #Creativity #workshopfacilitation #iterateiterateiterate

✅✅✅What a great visual by Compass Coaching. ✅✅✅ I agree ‘that’s the way we’ve always done it’ - big killer to company growth! Fear of starting because you think you will get it wrong, means you will never start. When we try things it is ugly and messy and you will very probably mess it up! The way to get better is to keep trying and get feedback. #leadership #growth #development
I love this cartoon – to me it illustrates Agile and Kaizen perfectly. Delivering benefit and continual improvement is achieved through iteration, experimentation, constant progression, learning, developing and finding a better way. •If you wait until the perfect moment when everything is right, you will never begin! •If you try and do it all at once you will likely be left behind. •If you are too blinkered on the perfect solution, by the time it’s delivered it may be the wrong solution. •If you’re fixated on how it’s always been done, you may miss the different options open to you Getting started leads to motivation, leads to ideas, leads to more action, leads to improvement, leads to delivered benefit. Continuous improvement isn’t just be for the workplace, it should be a way of life for all of us. Compass Coaching will help you find where your build your own self development plan. Agile thinking isn’t just for projects, it’s a great way to think about our own self development too. Consider what ‘Must’ you have in place to deliver some personal benefit - now get started. Then iterate, improve, build and add the next improvement to increase the benefit.

I have not had the challenges with management I continuously see Agile coaches, trainers, and consultants are always complaining about. Neither did the other consultants at Net Objectves (many of whom were ex managers). Now it could be my charming personality :) but i suspect it's because o fmy reliance on the verifiable theories of Flow, Lean, and the Theory of Constraints. So I'm asking those of you who also have not had problems with management most of the time to chip in. In particular, I'd like to hear from Wolfram Müller, Peter Merel, Steve Tendon, Scott Ambler, Mike Cottmeyer as I suspect they have not had this problem. I believe much of the problems with management are self-induced by not educating them and going in treating them as if they are going to be a problem. Even if you are nice, the attitude I see will limit your options. #Management #Agile #AgileManagement #DysfunctionalManagement

Agile Adoption Challenges? It Might Be Simpler Than You Think Ever found yourself puzzled about why your agile transformation isn't taking off the way you expected? You're not alone. Commonly cited reasons include management's lack of understanding, framework flaws, people not 'getting it', or perhaps an inexperienced agile coach. But what if I told you the root causes might be more straightforward? In our quest for agility, we often overlook a fundamental aspect: the strategic focus of our organization. Yes, the alignment (or misalignment) between your type of agile and your organization's strategic focus can make or break your agile journey. Jay Galbraith identifies three primary strategic focuses: Product, Operations, and Customer. Each focus requires a unique structure, rewards system, people, and processes, leading to a distinct flavor of agility. That's why I've developed a workshop to help you determine whether your agile efforts align with your organization's strategic focus, steering you away from the wrong battles and onto the path of true agility. 👉 Download the workshop here https://lnkd.in/eyBtEhzm and discover if you're fighting the right battles. 🌐 Interested in diving deeper into Designing Agile Organizations?
