What are your pillars of success for your gaming studio? Without these pillars, your studio will fail 100% of the time. #1 Pillar (Great Development Team): You need a great development team to make great games. But what makes a team great? A great team is made of creatively problem solvers and technically sound individuals with a collaborative and inclusive culture. But does only a good team guarantee a great game? No. #2 Pillar (Great Management): Without experienced and goal-aligned management, a great development team on its own cannot make a great game, as management will be steering the direction of the ship. But again, do you think good management and a solid development team can make a great game on their own? NO. #3 Pillar (The Actual Game Idea): Without the right idea and the right genre, which the entire development and management team have experience in, the game will fail. Building the right game concept is key; otherwise, you will build the wrong kind of great game which will not sell. So, your game idea is KING. Above are the pillars for our studio. As we are not trying to make existing kinds of game ideas but bringing fresh elements to proven genres, these pillars of success are important to us.
