Just coming off a morning training meeting and was thinking about adult learners and what is needed to ensure content is understood and is actionable. Repetition! When it comes to training adults on new ideas and concepts, repetition is key. Research shows that adults often need to hear or practice a new concept multiple times before it sticks. This isn’t just about memorization—it’s about reinforcement. Repeating key ideas in different ways, whether through discussions, hands-on practice, or real-world application, helps solidify understanding and leads to long-term retention. #AdultLearning #TrainingAndDevelopment #ContinuousImprovement #LearningAndDevelopment #Reinforcement #AlgoSecTogether #GrowYourself

So true. Hands-on practice really seems to be the trick. Sending out eLearning a few weeks later or reminder emails on what we learned doesn't cut it anymore. Practice + highlighting successes of those new behaviors in real situations
