To my connections out there, I know it’s tough for many of us who are on the job hunt right now. There seem to be enough job openings for everyone, but the process is broken. Too much automation and not enough personal touch and assistance. I recently applied to over 50 jobs in two weeks, yet have received over 30 rejections, some within 12 hours of submitting my application. It’s frustrating to see that despite matching at least 8 out of 10 skills with each job, I’m still facing rejection. I’m sure many of you can relate to this experience. However, I’m not giving up and neither should you. If you need any help or support, please feel free to DM me. Let's all make this push, for most of us, myself included, have no idea why the layoff happened, nor was a really good reason given. No matter, no work puts many people in a terrible position. So, let's all band together and help each other out. Remember, we’re all in this together. #opentowork

I’m just four weeks away from hitting the one-year mark since my layoff. Over the past year, I’ve applied to hundreds of positions I’m certainly qualified for, yet I’ve faced countless rejections and only landed a handful of interviews. The job market can be tough, and navigating it for this long has taken its toll. I’m now considering taking down my #opentowork banner for a while, not as a sign of giving up, but as a way to regroup, recharge, and reassess my strategy. However, before I make this decision, I’m turning to my network for advice.
