🏬When you have multiple brands, business units or related companies, you may have questioned whether to use one HubSpot portal or several, have multiple domains add-on or use Business Units. And it's a very common question. Most people don't understand the difference and how to solve this question with HubSpot 🤷🏼♀️ 👉So let me tell you a little bit about each scenario: ‣ 𝕄𝕦𝕝𝕥𝕚𝕡𝕝𝕖 𝕡𝕠𝕣𝕥𝕒𝕝𝕤: ideal when brands or business units have no relationship with each other, have different types of customers, answer to a separate management group and can't share information with each other because of legal issues. Even their work teams are independent. ‣ 𝕄𝕦𝕝𝕥𝕚𝕡𝕝𝕖 𝕕𝕠𝕞𝕒𝕚𝕟𝕤: this only makes sense when using different email sending domains, but the team is the same, the stakeholders are the same, the web and brand kit is the same and there is no need to break down metrics into reports. ‣ 𝔹𝕦𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤 𝕌𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕤: here you work on 1 portal but with separate brands, domains, teams, assets and metrics. You share the database, this means you can cross-sell to your contacts and work the same with each of the Business Units, sharing the information... but all measured individually. You can even have a different App/Tech stack for each Business Unit (and again, in the same HubSpot Portal) ✅When you choose to work with 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙨 in a HubSpot portal there are a lot of configurations to do to make this work correctly and without errors. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴... so it has been a real challenge for many customers. You've got multiple brands or business units, right? And you've been scratching your head about whether to use one HubSpot portal or several, multiple domains or Business Units. No worries, I'm here to help. Here's the lowdown on each option: - Multiple portals: Perfect when your brands don't mix, have different customers, management, and can't share info due to legal stuff. - Multiple domains: Same team, same stakeholders, no need for separate reports. Just different email sending domains. - Business Units: One portal but separate everything else – brands, domains, teams, assets and metrics. Share the database and cross-sell like a pro. Now, setting up Business Units in HubSpot can be tricky. But fear not! We created a Masterclass to guide you through it all. If you are considering Business Units with HubSpot, take a look at this: https://bit.ly/4aTN9ri Don't miss a thing and get it right the first time. Got questions? I have been only waiting around 9 years for this update from HubSpot HubSpot Tips and Tricks: How many workflows have we created over the years of Copy Country or Industry from contact to deal or from contact to company or vice versa? Long last we don't need to create workflows for that anymore: Sync Properties are a new property type that copies a property value across objects. This feature eliminates the need for manual entry or workflows to keep two properties in sync across objects. This makes it even easier for customers to have the data they need when they need it, where they need it. Watch this demo to see it in action! When creating a new property, on the Field Type selection screen, select "Property Sync". Then choose the source record type and the source record property to copy. Finally, to specify which record to copy the value from, choose an association label (optional) and an operator. Current operators are "first record created", and "most recently created". Current Limitations: Sync is "one way". Whenever the "source property" is updated, the value is synced. But, the "sync property" on the target object cannot be directly updated. We do not expect to change this behavior in the short term. Sync may not be instant. Targeting 5s or less (standard calculated properties SLA), but we are still scaling systems during the beta period.

Did You Know You Can Access HubSpot's New Features Before They’re Public? Just log in and request to join the beta program. HubSpot regularly releases exciting product updates and beta features, but many businesses aren’t aware they can easily access and test these features before they’re public. Here’s how to do it: 1️⃣ Log into HubSpot and head to the top right. 2️⃣ Select Product Updates. 3️⃣ Browse new features or filter by Coming Soon and Beta to see what’s on the horizon. 5 Reasons Why HubSpot Isn’t Working

Did you know HubSpot does a ton of stuff automatically, almost like magic? I've been talking a lot about getting back to basics, and when the tool already does so much by default, almost magically, and you don't know about it, you end up fighting against the tide. You might find yourself creating workflows that go against the grain, trying to change a standard product behaviour, which generally isn't a good idea. Let me give you some examples. If you're putting in superhuman efforts to create complex workflows to manage associations between contacts and companies, the first thing you need to know is that HubSpot has a rule for automatically associating contacts with companies. Before setting up your workflows, at least know this rule exists, see how you can work with it, and if not, turn it off so you're not competing against the product. Here's another example: lifecycle stages. Many HubSpot admins struggle to have a highly customised scheme for when a lead is a lead, when it's a marketing qualified lead, when it's an opportunity, and so on. But if you don't know that HubSpot automatically applies changes to these lifecycle stages and just try to go against the flow with your workflows, you'll find yourself in situations where you can't explain why something works or doesn't work. What's my point here? It's important to review and understand the fundamentals. You need to train on the basics. Once you've got the basics down, then you can look at doing cooler stuff, stronger customisations. 🟠 Jordan said, “Get the fundamentals down, and the level of everything you do will rise.” Michael Jordan famously focused on perfecting his basic skills, even at the height of his career. He believed that mastering fundamentals, like dribbling, passing, and shooting, created the foundation for his advanced techniques. So here's a question for you: do you know all the basics? Do you practise them daily? The product changes quickly; who it was done two years ago isn't necessarily how's done today. How do you do it? How do you keep up to date? And since you can't know what you don't know, when was the last time you did an audit? #hubspotcrm #hubspotsuperadmins #hubspotacademy
