Seven years ago, I took a leap of faith and joined Ownbackup (Thank you, Adam) Back then, we were a scrappy Series A startup with big dreams. From my first visit to the office and meeting with the leadership team (Sam, Ori, Emma), it was clear that this wasn’t just another startup. It was a team with a bold vision, incredible talent, and a passion for building something unique. The first week? Imagine drinking from a firehose turned up to maximum pressure. If you've ever worked at a startup, you know the drill—processes, products, people, roadmaps, execution, and accountability all hitting you at once. By week two, I was on a flight to my first Dreamforce. I thought I knew what to expect—having been to plenty of conferences before—but Dreamforce was in a league of its own. San Francisco was transformed, with green carpets rolled out, plush mascots roaming the streets, and an awe-inspiring production that left me wide-eyed and speechless. Then, there was the ownbackup booth and our presence. We punched far above our weight with only a few dozen employees in attendance. Our branding was everywhere, our team was sharp, and our swag—beer steins, giveaways, and legendary parties—turned heads. But what truly stood out to me were the conversations. Customers passionately shared how Ownbackup had transformed their operations—helping them avert data loss, ensure smooth performance, and step in as a trusted partner during critical moments. The maniacal focus on the customer wasn't just a mantra—it was embedded in our DNA. I knew I made the right choice. Over the years, Own Company grew exponentially, innovating and expanding its offerings into a complete data governance suite. This growth wasn't random; it was fueled by listening to our customers, understanding their challenges, and delivering solutions that made a difference. These seven years have been nothing short of transformative for me. I've had the privilege of being promoted several times and stepping into new roles across individual contributor, management, and GTM functions. I've traveled across the U.S. (and a few trips to Aruba for Presidents Club), meeting customers, prospects, and partners, evangelizing the shared responsibility model, and showcasing the incredible value we deliver. While I'm proud of the milestones we've achieved as an organization, it's the people—the brilliant, collaborative, and supportive colleagues I've worked with—who have truly shaped my experience. The camaraderie and shared vision have left an indelible mark, and I'll forever be grateful for the memories we've created together. As an "Owner," I feel humbled and deeply fortunate to have been part of this incredible journey from Series A to Salesforce's acquisition. Reflecting on these past few years fills me with pride, and I'm equally excited about the opportunities in this next chapter with Salesforce.

Today, Salesforce celebrates 25 years of trailblazing! Across our company, we are celebrating a quarter-century of innovation and how the work of many have taken us to be the top AI CRM and a leader in enterprise apps globally. It is an absolutely fantastic day, and one which coincides with International Women’s Day. Here, we are championing our commitment to breaking systemic barriers, enhancing representation and creating inclusive environments for all. I’m also so proud that our 1-1-1 model (product, time, and resources) continues to thrive, not only globally, but throughout the Nordics. I often think of a quote by our CEO Marc Benioff who said “the business of business is improving the state of the world”. And it is my firm belief that with a structure that’s accessible, flexible, and scalable, the Salesforce 1-1-1 model aims to do exactly that. And after releasing our earnings report for our fiscal year last week, it is amazing to zoom out and see how our company continues to grow.
