In collaboration with AWS, Formula One has introduced 22 unique insights for live broadcasts, enhancing fan engagement and making complex data accessible to everyone. From tire degradation to pit stop deltas, these insights help new fans and seasoned enthusiasts alike understand the nuances of the sport. 🏁 Some key advancements include: ✅ Live Commentary Subtitles: Leveraging AI to generate live transcriptions, making broadcasts more accessible. ✅ StatBot: A generative AI tool that answers historical questions in seconds, ensuring timely and relevant commentary. ✅ Root Cause Analysis: Using natural language processing to identify and address technical issues swiftly, paving the way for predictive maintenance. AI will not only react but also predict and prevent technical issues. This shift will lead to more seamless broadcasts and an enhanced fan experience. An amazing experience to participate in Google Cloud x Formulae AI Hackathon. Got hands on experience to develop working pilot Operational efficiency use case (Leverage audio and text feedbacks from race events, perform sentiment analysis and provide actionable insights for the operations team for better event experience) Key learnings: 1. It's important to identify key measurable output for the use case 2.Data is the key, synthetic data won't give the results as real data would 3. Gemini1.5 pro provides better audio to text transcription and categorisation for sentiment analysis 4. A-B testing is as important as the prompt instructions 5. Temperature settings for the model should be kept low for such use cases to avoid randomness 6. Google Firebase leveraging Gemini 1.5 is great in building integrated aps 7. Prompts and instructions should be an iterative process. 8. More you get your hands on building pilot Gen AI solutions, you realise what are the strategies which are pivotal. Hands- on experience: Google Vertex AI and Google native services , Gemini 1.5, Firebase.

We had an incredible time at Google Cloud x Formula E AI Hackathon, alongside brilliant data practitioners, coders, Googlers, and industry experts. The theme was Formula E Racing. We tackled the "Vision Highlight Reel & Content Creation" challenge. By taking the video recordings from racing events, including cockpit footage, driver-support radio, official broadcasts, and driver profiles; then leveraging GCP's video recognition and natural language processing capabilities, we identified key race events like overtakes and crashes. We were then able to explore how GenAI could be used to create a spoiler-free highlight reel from these insights. Simultaneously, I took on the challenge of building a customized chatbot using AzureML Studio for new vehicle price predictions, achieving a remarkable 91% accuracy. Also, created its API for seamless integration.
