Manoeuvrable autonomous quadcopter with open source code Researchers at the University of Zurich have created a highly maneuverable quadcopter capable of avoiding obstacles and tracking its trajectory. The new design adds onboard vision sensors, monitoring systems for flight control, and several other components to improve the drone's ability to receive and process real-time flight information. An artificial intelligence module has also been added to ensure smooth and manoeuvrable flight. The drone is capable of maintaining maneuverability at speeds between 50 and 70 km/h. Researchers believe it could be used for urgent real-world missions, such as search and rescue operations and possibly the delivery of goods.
