I recently applied for an internship to gain a new skill and was offered a 15K stipend, which I found acceptable for a month of hands-on experience. During the interview, I learned that they use applicant tracking and require a 9-6 work schedule. I questioned the need for such rigid tracking if the work is task-based and was told that if the workload is heavy, the task completion should be the focus, not the hours.
