A little insight here into some of the ways I work with clients.
It's National Picnic Week. Most things taste better out of doors. "Picnicking allows individuals to appreciate the simple joys of food, nature, and connection with others." In other words, the things that promote #wellbeing. When I'm meeting clients for a walking appointment we'll often bring a flask and a currant bun or an apple. And group sessions with children MUST involve food. It's in the rule book. Picnics have featured significantly in our family life. In fact my early parenting years involved popping whatever was for lunch in a paper bag and heading out around the village to keep one or other of the children happy. We have eaten picnics at all of these spots, beautifully photographed by members of Holt Parish Council. Later we went full on Famous Five on our picnics with lashings of homemade ginger beer and fruitcake before embarking on a Treasure Trail. Planning the picnic was part of the adventure. One of my strongest memories of my mother is of the picnics she packed to go to the beach - cheese and tomato (and sand) sandwiches in a Family Circle biscuit tin, apples, boiled eggs and a packet of crisps each with those tiny salt sachets to sprinkle on them. Whether your #picnics are modest or high end, I guarantee that you'll remember them for years to come. It's not at all surprising that many of my bereaved clients talk animatedly about family picnics when they feel able to remember the past and smile through their tears. So go on a picnic this week. Go alone and immerse yourself in nature or connect with others, spend time out of doors, slow down, eat mindfully and make some memories. #WellbeingWednesday

🌟 The Many Ways Community Shows Up 🌟 Community isn’t just about shared spaces—it’s about the connections we make, the traditions we honor, and the ways we show up for each other. Whether it's at work, with friends, or around the dinner table, community brings meaning, comfort, and a sense of belonging to our lives. As we round the corner into next week, with Thanksgiving on the horizon (for those who celebrate), I’d love to invite you to share something special from your own community experience: food. 🥘🍂 Food has a unique way of bringing people together, creating memories, and expressing love and culture. Whether it’s a Thanksgiving staple, a family favorite, or a dish you bring to gatherings with friends, I’d love to hear about the recipes that have become part of your community tradition. ✨ If you celebrate Thanksgiving, please share a favorite recipe that will be at your table. ✨ If Thanksgiving isn’t part of your tradition, share a recipe from any special meal you’ve enjoyed with loved ones. Let’s celebrate community through food and stories—and maybe even discover some new recipes along the way! 🍴💬 #Community #Thanksgiving #FoodAndTradition #GatheringTogether #Gratitude #Recipes #FoodForThought

Actions speak louder than words: How my dad's example in the kitchen shaped our life for better. My dad, a father of two boys, proved this firsthand. In our rural town, it wasn't common for men to help in the kitchen (30 years ago). Yet, Dad, the primary breadwinner, always lent a hand to Mom, even before she became the equal breadwinner. He didn't just talk about kindness; he showed it through his actions. Now, I love cooking, and my daughters enjoy my recipes. For those who know me #cooking and #serving bring me #joy - not titles or status. So, if you think certain tasks aren't your job or cling to outdated ideas of dominance, know you're lagging far behind. It's time to catch up. Parents, keep in mind: your actions speak louder than words to your kids. Your impact on them runs deep. 🌟 Follow Prashanth P. and the #peoplefarmer community to nurture individuals towards reaching their fullest potential!

🎃 Want spooktacular tips to keep your team safe? As Halloween approaches, it's time to get into the festive spirit! But let’s not forget—safety is no trick! Here are some "boo-tiful" safety tips to keep you and your loved ones safe this Halloween: Now I get it, we want to let our hair down and enjoy the spooky season but one that that you can't forget - the safety of your team. Especially as we move into the festive season - Christmas is just around the corner... So let's jump into a few things to help you stay safe but still enjoy yourself. If you are opting to allow for your team to dress up and get spooky - please avoid capes! We don't need anyone getting stuck in equipment or tripping over on the way to the kitchen. If you are hosting a Halloween gathering, please make sure you don't use decorations that are low hanging - getting clothes lined after grabbing a handful of snakes isn't ideal. And lastly, please make sure you ask for any dietaries for those yummy treats you are putting out. A tip to the hospital isn't a fun time! Let’s make this Halloween not only fun but also safe! From the team at Women In Safety, have a hauntingly good time, and remember, safety is no hocus pocus 🧙 #womeninsafety #workplacesafety #healthandsafetyindustry #leadingsafe #healthandsafetywomen #sheleadssafety #safetycommunity #womenleadersinsafety
