You are not alone. Oddly, when we are going though struggling moments in our life, we think that no one will understand or that we will be judged negatively about our struggle. Our anxious and depressed brains have a tendency to llie to us. Please know that people will understand, if they don't they still want to listen and help. People who don't know you may judge harshley, but those who love you will not. They want to help. You are not alone in your struggles, reach out to a trusted friend. If you don't want to share with anyone you know, reach out to me. I will listen with out judgment and listen to understand. Tag someone who can use some encouragment to get help. #mentalhealth #anxiety #depression #therapy #urbanferncoactive #selfcare

Many people struggle with loss, change, and various stressors. Denying such feelings causes further self-shame. It’s OK to not be OK! Admitting that you are overwhelmed, sad, or disappointed shows strength. Sometimes just admitting to ourselves and others that we are struggling can provide relief. #SelfCare #MentalHealthMatters #AcknowledgeYourFeelings #MentalHealthAwareness #Depression #Anxiety #TherapySupport #YouAreNotAlone #JodiTaubTherapy #Therapy

When people talk about Anxiety and Depression, they often focus on the latter as it's easier to understand and is more commonly talked about. Below, I've tried to show what it's like to live with heightened anxiety on a day-to-day basis. My hopes are that: 1. It will help those who work with people who struggle with anxiety to understand it a little better. 2. Give comfort to those that this resonates with. It's ok not to be ok. #anxiety #depression #selfawareness Click follow on my profile for more content like this.

Stop holding on. Your body is asking for rest. Allow yourself to decompress and let go of whatever it is you might be holding onto. Don't resist the feelings that come up, allow them to run their course. The longer you resist and hold on, the worse it gets. FEEL it to HEAL it. Get out of your own way and trust fall into the Universe knowing that this too shall pass💙 #depression #anxiety #overthinking #mentalhealth #depressionhelp #anxietytips

It's common to find oneself being more supportive of others than of oneself. Encouraging loved ones may come easily, yet when it comes to self-encouragement, there's often harshness and misunderstanding. This stems from self-doubt and insufficient self-love. If you're struggling with self-love, know that support is available to help you learn how to embrace yourself. Easier said than done sometimes, but don't let the negative thoughts and/or feelings win. Don't give them the control and power over you that they want. Practice gratitude. Practice Self-Compassion. Give yourself grace. Counter the negative with three positivies - every time. Let yourself feel the emotion, don't just bury them away - honor them, acknowledge them, and then release. I know it is difficult - trust me, I know - it has been a constant battle this morning for me, but you can do it & you're not alone. #wisdomwednesday #wellnesswednesday #mentalhealth #anxiety #depression #selfcompassion #therapist #mentalhealththerapist #lpc #gratitude #emotions #feelings #thoughts #challenge #notalone
