🚨 A Challenge to Placement Officers! 🚨 🛑 It’s time to address the hard truths. Let’s start with a genuine question for placement officers: Can you reveal your numbers for the 2024-25 batch? 📊 And please, don’t include Accenture’s offers as placements for now. Here’s what I challenge you to answer: 1️⃣ How many students are in the 2025 graduating batch? 2️⃣ How many have been placed so far? 3️⃣ How many offers are genuine, sustainable opportunities? 4️⃣ Do you genuinely understand where the job markets are headed? YES/NO. Let’s face it. The job market dynamics are shifting rapidly, and no amount of networking or corporate meetups will solve this overnight. Even many CEOs lack clarity. ❗The problem? Transactional mindsets. Many placement officers have reduced their roles to profit-driven entities, while campus heads /recruiters focus on shortcut wins using the situations. This has led to missed opportunities for the young graduates who represent the future of our country. 💡 Here’s a wake-up call: Placement officers and corporate leaders, you hold a shared responsibility to create meaningful opportunities for young talent. The job isn’t about photo ops on LinkedIn or short-term profits. It’s about long-term investments in our youth and the future of our economy. Placement is a science. It's not just a job role. Campus Recruitment is a Responsibility to this country's young graduates. Not a "God"'s role. 📢 To India Inc: 🔹Stop prioritizing dividends for shareholders during a crisis. 🔹Instead, reinvest profits into hiring and nurturing fresh graduates. 🔹Shareholders can wait. India’s young workforce cannot. ⚙️ To placement officers and recruiters: 🔹Use this moment to build skill-based ecosystems in collaboration with academic departments. 🔹Stop being transactional. Instead, foster genuine partnerships that bridge the gap between education and industry. 📌 And to the graduates: 🔹It’s time to step up. 🔹Work-life balance can take a backseat for now. 🔹The next two years demand effort, grit, and learning as we rebuild in critical areas like engineering, science, and technology. 💬 Final thought: If this post offends you, it’s time to reflect. Ignoring the seriousness of this situation isn’t an option anymore. It’s time to take responsibility. Our youth, our economy, and our future depend on it. 🚀
Yes. Campus Recruitment Community and India Inc should work on this situation with grit.
In Software, after working on a software for 3-4 years, Software remains in mind of people. They know how to change a code and they become perfect in that. Although, it's good to seat in office for long hours, but code people know well after 3-4 years.
Yes. Future of Freshers requires immediate attention.
We can't afford to leave 50 million young graduates jobless in a year.
