for a community of VC enthusiast who wanted to know specifically my experience/learning's from the program VC Labs, prepared a short deck (only 6 slides), added some resources from whatever i picked in past couple of years- this might be useful for those trying to gain entry into VC ecosystem (hopefully🙂) TOP 5 Take-aways~ highlighted in one of the slide... #1. Build your personal brand (goes hand in hand with your Investment thesis) #2. Build a solid network to crack deal sourcing (incubation centres, angel networks, emerging VC’s & those ahead in the journey) #3. Try your hands on angel investing and syndicate route if you are unable to get full time into VC role. #4. VC is all about power law (picking winners) & managing portfolio~ learn by doing & observing seasoned players. #5. Stay ahead of the trends in the area of your investment thesis. happy to learn from seasoned VC's in my network on what they have to guide? under comments Investors can find the link to my focussed investor community called- India focussed investors a.k.a. Amit Raj Gogia I read your five pointers more than couple of times, as much it's insightful it's equally quite impactful. This is not only for VCs but I believe it goes for individuals who want to grow as a strong individual / Leader. 1) Creating own personal brand (ethics, values / principles) 2) Build solid network - be a part of strong community (as they say person is know by the company / community he keeps in) 3) Invest in learning and upskilling your knowledge before stepping into a bigger role 4) Leadership is all about power law (picking future winners), lead by an example. Not sure if this makes sense to you but I quite liked your thought 😊

Yes I totally agree and felt the same about program when I attended some education session. Excited to see what you have next with building the ecosystem and driving impact !
