Alright, friends, back to work. Many gamers need our support!
I'd say one thing has changed: many, many more people are aware of your work and of the seriousness of the industry layoffs. Congratulations on the award, and as a player, thank you for the work you do to get game makers back on their feet!
we sure do. grats on last night. i bookmarked your website. hopefully i can get back into the industry.
Zero profit, endless value!
I love seeing what you’ve done, man! I’ve been jobless since August 3rd. The storylines I’ve written have been slowly picked up after an unofficial release, and contracts were not continued. I’ve stopped writing for Zenimax since. Now I’m leaning back into other work options, though the gaming industry is my passion. The ol’ savings disappear while we hang on for the right calling, sometimes making us choose whatever’s available to put food on the table. But a Huge Congratulations, Amir. You’ve helped so many! Great to see your efforts make your endeavor known to many more. Just what’s needed to make the handshake between creators and companies.
I’m one of the countless that was pleasantly surprised to see you get recognized on the stage. What a great moment for the movement you and many others like you have started. My best wishes sir 👏👏👏
You can afford to bask a little--heaven knows it's well-deserved!
I'm glad we've made the right person famous 👏
I have been job searching for 4 months looking for anything in IT and after multiple interviews where comments on my resume were "You should work in the gaming industry", I saw your award on The Game Awards and immediately signed up with the resources provided. It was very inspiring
Congrats on the award and your speech made me tear up 😭😭 thank you for all the work you are doing for the community 🩷❤️
