Did you know there are two main types of CPR? 1️⃣ Traditional CPR involves both chest compressions and rescue breaths, ideal for infants and children. 2️⃣ Hands-only CPR is recommended for adults and focuses solely on chest compressions, making it easier for bystanders to step in during an emergency. Knowing which type to use can make all the difference in saving a life! #CPR #LifeSavingSkills #HandsOnlyCPR #ForTheLoveofLife Learn more: https://zurl.co/93M1

Here's why CPR training is crucial: Increases Survival Rates: Immediate CPR can significantly increase a person's chances of survival after cardiac arrest. Empowers Bystanders: Knowing CPR gives you the confidence to act quickly and effectively in a critical moment. Builds Community Resilience: A community with CPR-trained individuals is better prepared to respond to emergencies. I encourage everyone to prioritize CPR training and become a potential lifesaver. BABY CPR // What's the difference between adult and infant CPR? For those who have done their CPR training recently (and regularly) will know straight away. If you are unsure, it is time to refresh your training and knowledge with LivCor's short course in CPR. Answer: Two fingers for a small baby or one hand for a child (adults - two hands interlinked), mouth breaths over the nose and mouth (adults - mouth breaths over the mouth only). The depth of compression remains unchanged at 1/3 the depth of the chest for adults, children and infants. Drop a 👶 if you knew this! #LivCorAustralia
