Agrivoltaics is forecast to become a $9.3 billion marketplace by 2031, growing at a compound annual rate of 10.1% in that time frame from $3.6 billion a year ago, according to Allied Analytics. This forecasted growth should create a sense of urgency around the country. We must get this build out right for #agrivoltaics to benefit rural communities. American Farmland Trust's Smart Solar℠ principles are guiding the way.
