Alcoholic Beverage Market Shares in the U.S. from 1999-2023. Spirits' share has grown from 28% (1999) to 42% (2023), mostly at the expense of beer. Spirits passed beer to become the new #1 in 2022. Wine's market share has been more or less steady.

Attention si le graphique est très intéressant il s’agit de CA (revenues) et non de volume pour les fournisseurs (donc ni pour les distributeurs ni côté consommateur)

Well, I have been in both industries spirits, and wine. They are quite different in terms of customer approach. It would be interesting to have in parallel the % of A&P expenses of each category !
