Important perspective to share widely (IMHO).....

Hopefully many will heed your warning. Another important need is to cultivate and support upcoming polititions that promote prosper instead of power. The long ignored middle-of-the-road voter needs a champion. Most do not want to thump ultra-conservative positions nor embrace the woke only addressing the squeeky wheel. We do not need candidates touting their race, religion, lifestyle. We need those that provide vision for all Americans. We also do not need Octoginarians duking it out in the polls. No need for decades of favors and mistakes to guide our country. Give us a mix of Teddy Roosevelt and Barrack Obama. The special interest factor has become the only focus of polititians, not seeing the win is in the pockets of every-day Americans. So business leaders need to help develope a pool of positive candidates that offer answers to the furute progression of the country. Hopefully, they are out there.

That’s why, in the past decade alone, New York City prosecutors have brought thousands of felony charges for falsifying business records. It’s a crime because it strikes at American prosperity. “For American business, the rule of law is essential. It is the soil in which commerce can take root and grow. Without this stable, predictable, rules-based environment, New York, and America, would not have become the hubs of innovation, investment, profit and progress that they are. “Unfortunately, many American business leaders have recently developed a kind of myopia, miscalculating what politics, and which political leaders, will truly support their long-term success. Perhaps this stems from their having lived their entire lives in a stable legal regime that they now take for granted. But a robust, reliable legal system is not a given. Leadership - Setting The Example: Business Leaders, their team members, suppliers & customers rely on a consistent set of rules and laws to effectively build their companies. Arbitrary adherence and enforcement leads to uncertainty, increased risk and stifles innovation. In the lead up to the 2024 Presidential Election, we must ask ourselves: “Which candidate will fulfill the solemn oath to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed." And will their Leadership Team and Congressional Members of that Party adhere to the rule of law. Or will they trample the Constitution, our norms and the will of the people in order to consolidate power and enhance their wealth by grifting from people who work hard every day to support their families. With Trump, we have a long record of lies, deceit, fraud and corruption. These are facts, as adjudicated by his fellow citizens.There is no need to recite here the many laws, rules and regulations that Trump has violated throughout his business and political career. He is a convicted felon, serial sexual predator, failed businessman - simply put, “he may be the greatest con man the world has ever seen”. Duping investors, suppliers, voters through nefarious means has allowed him to escape justice until recently. Couple this with the vile hate that spews from his mouth everyday, which is parroted and amplified by his legions of brownshirts. After bomb threats this week, officials had to evacuate two elementary schools in Springfield, Ohio. This is the second day bomb threats have closed schools after MAGA Republicans have spread the lie that immigrants have been eating white people's pets. A Talking Points Memo explained where the lie had come from and how it had spread. This latest attack originated from Neo-Nazis & White Supremacists, amplified by Vance & Trump. Meanwhile, they travel in their private jet & platform lunatics who claim that the Sept 11th was a conspiracy. As citizens, we admire and vote for candidates who “lead by example” - who model behavior characterized by integrity, character, empathy, compassion. This creates a culture of accountability, trust, and motivation across the country. In stark contrast, we have Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz, who everyday serve “For The People”. They have presented a vision and plan that will lift us all up and help unite our country as we all Move Forward. Leadership by example is about embodying the principles, values, and behaviors that a leader wants to see in their team. When leaders lead by example, they not only set a clear standard for others to follow but also create an environment where trust, respect, and motivation thrive. This approach ultimately drives higher performance, stronger team cohesion, and a more positive organizational culture. It’s a blatant contradiction, bordering on hypocrisy. Forbes claims to champion wealth, influence, and legitimate financial success—attributes that should reflect stability, sound judgment, and ethical business practices. Yet, they rank Donald Trump, whose career is a trainwreck of bankruptcies, lawsuits, scams, and now, felony indictments. How does Forbes square this circle? Trump’s “success” is built on exploiting loopholes, stiffing creditors, and playing the courts like a game, not on genuine entrepreneurial skill or business integrity. By including him in their rankings, Forbes is effectively rewarding deceit and failure over real accomplishment. This choice exposes a glaring flaw in Forbes’ criteria and calls into question whether they value substance and integrity or if they're simply chasing notoriety. If Forbes wants to be taken seriously as a global authority on business, it needs to stop legitimizing felons masquerading as business moguls.
