This is an absolutely stinging editorial by Silicon Valley legend Reid Hoffman (who I'm proud to call a friend) demolishing the arguments of business leaders who support Trump. It's clear, smart, and brave. If Trump gets reelected he'll have it out for Reid, whose business interests could well suffer. That possibility would (and has) silenced a lot of people, or convinced them to lay low. Reid made a different choice. I am eager to see if anyone of his stature (or anywhere close) in the tech and/or business community dares to respond. https://lnkd.in/eiKbYuYc

Free market reforms need a champion, Trump or someone else. With energy, Trump has proven himself as the most free market president in history. Having the US exit the Paris Climate Accord seven years ago was courageous--and correct. Expect it again if reelected.

It's a good argument. I think it would have deepened his analysis if he included the important nuance that the Bragg indictment, as a politically-driven legal action, itself diminishes the rule of law.
