Founder | Global SDR Leader | Helping Companies Drive Revenue Growth

Many SDR managers fall into the trap of making 1:1s all about the numbers: - Chasing activity targets - Tracking how many leads were added to sequences - Focusing on quota progress - Pushing solely for more activity But the real impact of a 1:1 comes from shifting the focus to what genuinely drives success: - Clearing roadblocks - Coaching for skill development - Genuinely checking in on their wellbeing - Understanding their personal ambitions - Recognising achievements—big or small 1:1s should be about people, not just numbers. Fixate solely on metrics, and you risk losing trust and connection with your reps.

so good. check out this post also. 📊 Poll Results In! The Value of Regular 1:1s with Managers 📊 In a recent poll, we asked whether professionals are receiving regular 1:1s (at least monthly) with their managers. Here’s what we found: ✅ Yes, and it's beneficial: 46% 🚫 No, not weekly or monthly: 43% 🛠 Yes, but only for performance check-ins: 11% These numbers highlight how differently we experience 1:1s. While nearly half are benefiting from regular, supportive check-ins, almost as many aren’t meeting regularly with their managers. Others have 1:1s but with a narrower focus on performance, leaving less room for development or feedback. Regular 1:1s aren't just for performance—they can boost engagement, align goals, and provide space for professional growth. How can we encourage more meaningful, frequent conversations? #EmployeeEngagement #Leadership #ProfessionalGrowth
