✨ I'm delighted to share with you a huge milestone in my learning journey-to-date: I have just completed an intensive Artificial Intelligence training program courtesy of the National Telecommunication Institute, NTI, in partnership with ITIDA. The comprehensive training of 120 hours over four weeks has been a fantastic learning experience that increased my awareness of AI and further equipped me as a professional. The said training comprised 90 hours dedicated to AI and 30 hours of soft skills development, hence giving me a well-rounded set of technical and professional skills. In the AI part, I explored hot topics such as: - Machine Learning algorithms-from basic concepts and applications to their applications in different industries - Computer Vision techniques: image processing, object detection, and how one applies them in real-world scenarios. - Data pre-processing and model optimization to achieve better accuracy. Build an intelligent system using AI tools and libraries that can make decisions in real time without human intervention. These 90 hours were power-packed with hands-on projects and applications that in-depthened my knowledge and improved problem-solving skills in AI and Computer Vision. On the soft skills side, this was a 30-hour training on the following topics: - How to effectively communicate, be on a team, and engage in leadership in both technical and nontechnical aspects. - The fundamentals of project management that empower me to negotiate and deliver successful projects in my career grail: personal branding to reflect my expertise and to actually position myself effectively in the market. This experience has changed my life, and I am more empowered now to take further challenges in the AI field. I want to express my deep appreciation for Amr Elshemy , Aya Khaled and esraa elbaz , who were instrumental in guiding me through this journey. 🤖 AI Insights at ACCS Conference 2024! 🎓 🚀 Honoured to have presented at the Association of Community and Comprehensive Schools In-School Management Conference 2024 on "Artificial Intelligence for Additional Educational Needs." After 27 years teaching in the Comprehensive School system, sharing insights with fellow educators and school leaders about how AI can enhance personalised learning support was truly a career highlight. The conference theme "Artificial Intelligence in Our Schools and in Our Lives" couldn't be more timely. The keynote by Irene Stone set a great tone for the day. She highlighted the power, potential and perils of AI in Education expertly. Thanks also to Sarah Gibbons , Gemma C., Eddie Farren my fellow speakers for their valuable contributions on integrating AI across different educational contexts. It was great to swap tips and advice with each other. In my presentation, I shared how AI tools are transforming our ability to create personalised and adaptive learning experiences for students with additional needs. Drawing from my classroom experience, I demonstrated how ethical implementation and comprehensive training must go hand-in-hand with these powerful new technologies. Kudos to ACCS for taking the lead in this important conversation.
