What does being ‘Purpose Led’ mean? Some of you will be aware that NatWest Group aimed to become a truly purpose led organisation a few years ago, and as part of this we devised our three pillars of purpose: - Climate - Enterprise - Learning Following on from our 2023 annual results announcement on Friday, which revealed very strong performance across the board and led to a decent increase in our share price, I wanted to highlight our 2023 performance in relation to these three pillars of purpose specifically: - £61.9 billion cumulative contribution towards £100 billion climate and sustainable funding and financing target by the end of 2025. - 301,000 interventions to start, run, and grow a business against a target of 275,000 in 2023. - 45,000 individuals and businesses supported by enterprise programmes against a target of 35,000 in 2023. - 18.4 million financial capability interactions delivered between 2020 and 2023 against a target of 15 million by 2023. - 2.3 million additional customers helped to start saving between 2020 and 2023 against a target of 2 million by 2023. - 40% of NatWest Group Board members are women. #natwest #purpose #climate #enterprise #learning

Programs like Westpac Youth Impact Challenges are geat and can be very helpful to all those involved. My experience working with youth overseas from developing communities does make me feel as there is often a missing middle step. The BOP Protocol 2.0 provides a framework that focuses on co-creation and collaboration. How organisations and the participants of such programs approach the opportunity is essential. My experience has demonstrated that youth often have a singular focus, as in my idea or my solution, not we or our. this of course, is not always the case, but programs like Little Go Getters, that foster a collaborative approach is helpful for a large number of youth to get the most from such programs and the impact they way to see achieved.
